- The Apostle Paul’s life illustrates that followers of Jesus Christ can expect to face a variety of challenges and trials in their own lives. Yet despite the difficulties that he had endured, Paul taught that believers can remain calm and confident in all circumstances. In this message on Philippians 4:6-7, Dr. Steven Lawson describes the supernatural peace that God gives His children in the midst of life’s storms.

Don't rule out demonic attacks. The closer we get to God and do his work, the more Satan tries to stop it.
But God uses it to increase our dependence on him and grow our faith. He is always there 🙏
@kimgab 🙏
Very very pertinent to our lives. For all share the privilege of learning, knowing that God alone IS the peace and The peace provider.

Christ said not to be anxious for abything so anxiety is a sin
Thanks I think anxiety comes on sometimes without knowing and being able to control it, so I don’t think it’s a sin but Our Savior takes it away when we remind ourselves of His Words and His gift of profound inexplicable peace
How about the chemicals that chase it down?
Some people who have mental illnesses like OCD, have struggles with compulsively praying and a different brain mechanism that can result in almost a constant state of anxiety that doesn’t go away with praying but can make it worse at times. I pray the Lord continue to give us grace during these and all afflictions of the flesh.
Praying will never make anxiety worse brother. Get on your knees and cry out to God!
@@evandavo5149 I appreciate your response brother but mental illness is real. I do cry out to the Lord for help daily
THE WORLD HAS FORGOTTEN THEY ARE ONE IN AGREEMENT (JOHN 17:22):
God said in Isaiah 44:24, “I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens ALONE; that spreadeth abroad the earth BY MYSELF.” In Isaiah 44:6 God said, “I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” In Isaiah 46:9, God said “I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me.” In Isaiah 45:22, God said “Look unto me, and be ye saved… for I am God, and there is none else.”
In John 2:19, God said through Jesus “I will destroy this temple and in three days, I will raise it up.” In John 12:49-50, Jesus tells us that he speaks ONLY what the Father tells him: “For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, HE gave me a COMMANDMENT, what *I should say, and what I should speak.* [50] And I know that HIS commandment is life everlasting: *WHATSOEVER* I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”
You've forgotten that the Lord is the triune God.
@@HearGodsWord And you've forgotten that there is only *one* God, not three.
@@user-rj8py9ld3j thanks for showing that you don't even have a basic understanding 🤣
