- Hello and welcome back to the tribe.
My fellow tribesmen I'm sure you all know about Shutoko Revival Project and their car packs by now. It's been quite a while since checked their car pack and there are some nice changes and additions. They released their new pack recently with 52 cars, including main fast cars, slow cars and traffic cars. In this video I want to showcase the amazing 18 main fast cars on the legendary Gunsai Touge track.
Last time I showcased their car pack, there were 12 cars and now a total of 18 cars included / as main fast cars for Shutoko Revival Project servers.
If you want to play on their official online servers or if you want lots of handpicked beautiful sounding, nice driving and good quality cars, there is this superb car mods pack with 18 Japanese domestic and import cars.
Bear in mind though, in order to get some of these cars working you may need the Japanese Pack DLC.

It's amazing how an almost decade old game can easily trade blows graphics-wise with a giant like Gran Turismo 7, because physics-wise Assetto Corsa is on a different level with the current best mods.
It still blows me away completely, when I see screenshots from AC by other people. It is quite unbelievable indeed...
Car models is still better in gran turismo 7 but yes i agree the good mods can make ac look very good, the problem with car mods is that some is not as great, and there is some cars you cant get in Ac with good quality yet

Are these for the 2real traffic or the usual one? I am kinda new to assetto and the mods so bare with my silly questions, Can these be added to the 2 real traffic pack?

I was wondering: how much did you end up paying, and was it a hassle to swap it out for your old GPU?
I'm considering getting an upgrade from my 2070s but I don't want to pay idiotic money. I'd like a 40 series otherwise it feels pointless upgrading, but everywhere I look they're just insanely priced.
Yes, I did. Thank you very much. I paid an idiotic amount of money. I cannot hide it, but I lie myself by telling that it was an investment for the channel :). If you play at 1440p, I would say there are quite good options for upgrade from 2070, where I guess 2070 would still perform well @1440p.
@@SIMTRIBE I'd say it _was_ an investment for the channel. :) Makes sense to me. If I was running a channel like this I'd definitely feel like I needed a GPU like that, and not just for graphics. Don't they help with video editing too?
An idiotic amount of money lol...TBH I am an idiot so I'll probably end up paying it at some point.
@@thesprawl2361 Everything started when I wanted to up my video quality to 4K :) Bad decision (for my wallet apparently :) ). First came the 4K screen and then the need for a GPU with as much headroom for both 4k gaming, recording, editing and VR. Considered 7900XTX really hard, but was afraid of driver problems. RTX 4090 was a strong contender, but it was almost %50 more expensive than 4080. And in the end I am an idiot too for paying for 4080 :)
@@SIMTRIBE Fifty percent more expensive?? For what...10% more power, if that? I think a 4090 is really just a flex at this point. 4080 is the sweet spot for me.
I'm hoping prices will drop soon, but I keep going back to check and they're still ludicrous. It's not that it's out of my budget...it's more that if I bought a 4080 right now, if I spent that much money on a GPU when I already have a 2070s...I think I'd just descend into a shame spiral for a week, like those people on strict diets who try really hard but end up sitting outside their fridge at 3am eating Ben and Jerry's with their hands.

When people play in VR, do you find the misaligned shifting / steering animations distracting? Do you disable the driver?
It seems the vast majority of modded cars do not have custom animations for the steering wheel and shifter. I don't have VR - not at least yet - so I'm not sure if the animations would bother me. On a flat screen they would drive me nuts, but of course you disable the driver and steering wheel anyway so it does not matter.
I haven't paid attention to it, but now I will. I guess it didn't bother me before.

It was just a general question directed towards anyone who watches these, rather awesome, videos. Even though I don't have VR headset yet, I have been thinking whether I should tag mods in Content Manager that have custom animations and in that sense are "VR compatible".
However I'm not sure if the animations would bother me in VR as everything is on scale and you would be looking through the windscreen anyway. On a flat screen everything is kind of in-your-face.
No need to sorry, please come on. In VR it happens as you say, everything is in scale and you look up and out the windscreen o it doesn't bother you at all. At least didnt bother me while in VR.
Acutally Assetto Corsa modding is quite easy.
If you in love with a car, and you find the animations/positions annoying, mostly you can change config with a few clicks.
I'm pretty sure you can learn how to mod AC in a 2-3 youtube videos.
@@emirkirca I know how to rigging and animating works and that is not how it is done lmao.
I have nothing against creating custom animations myself, but it is not really possible with encrypted models and obviously it is not feasible to create new animations for every mod because it would take too much time.

That is the strangest problem I've ever heard about AC. Do you use Content Manager?
Hey dude, I watched your video and It looks like a script reload issue.
Probably your Post Proccess Filter, Sol or Pure working not right.
You can try these for fix that. If this solves the problem please let me know.
Try these First:
-Update, Downgrade or Re-Install Current version of Custom Shader Patch via Content Manager.
-Re-Install or Delete Sol or Pure .
-Delete Current PP and Rollback Default Post Processing Filter.
If problem still exists, try these:
-Disable Post Processing Effects in Video settings.
-Disable all effects in Extra FX tab in Content Manager.
-Check integrity of Assetto Corsa via Steam.
-Reset all settings in Graphic Adjustments in Content Manager.
-Reset all Settings of Content Manager.
