      Awww thanks so much ...put a smile on my face. Yes I am not sure what is going on with CZcams and notifications....frustrating...but know that typically I put out a new video every second day. Thank you so much for this! I recently purchased a fine line applicator and was unsure how to arrive at the right consistency.

    I'm interested in knowing what it adds to the paint since I'm starting to use the fineline applicator.

      I think the Liquitex Basic paint with water....its a bit of trial and error to determine the thickness that works....You should be able to squeeze the applicator gently to get the paint to flow..but the paint should keep the line and be somewhat dimensional . Hope that helps.

    I saw someone tried using Liquitex air brush median to thin the paint instead of water. Have you tried? They said water made the Paints color less bright, but they air brush median didn't do that.
    I also see they make Liquitex flow aid. Thoughts? I need to thin out a realistic looking gold paint I want to flow in cracks of a rock.

      I heard that too but haven’t tried. I only use black white and gold so brightness isn’t an issue plus I’ve had no issues with doing it with water. I don’t think flow aid would work as its purpose is different.

    What do you add to black acrylic paint? 8:37

    Thank you. Just bought my first two empty bottles. Question? Is your cleaning mixture equal parts?

    • @KarenBurchill
      @KarenBurchill  Před 3 lety +2

      No...a couple glugs of Murphys....a squirt of dish detergent...and fill with 2 cup water. I never measure. K
