Iga Swiatek claims first title in Madrid 🏆

- World No.1 Iga Swiatek won her first Mutua Madrid Open title, saving three championship points to defeat No.2 and reigning champion Aryna Sabalenka. The match, the season's longest Hologic WTA Tour final, lasted 3 hours and 11 minutes.
The Madrid title marks the 20th career victory for 22-year-old Swiatek and her third of the season. She is the youngest player to reach 20 titles since Caroline Wozniacki in 2012.

Such a great tourney for Iga on a "fast" clay surface. I was particularly surprised how easily she dispatched both Cirstea and Keys.
Keys never really plays well against top players though

Iga could utilize dropshots a bit more often like she did at 2:37 because she is certainly capable of doing this. I mean of course she can win without it but maybe she could try it out against players she usually doesnt like to play against like Ostapenko or Rybakina

NASCAR has started growing it's sport by uploading the full race replays the next week, whenever there is a epic match, the WTA should do the same, having this match available for fans to rewatch over & over can only help grow the popularity of WTA tennis. The slams already do this, but it's a massive misstep by the WTA to not do this for other epic matches throughout the seasons, in addition it will help to grow your CZcams channel subscriber base considerably. It's criminal that fans will not be able to watch the entirety of this masterpiece, it's a missed opportunity.

Widać mnóstwo zmian w grze Igi. Wprowadzają drobne poprawki w tym sezonie drobnymi kroczkami, ale moim zdaniem najważniejszą zmianą oprócz mocy 1 podania, jest wreszcie zagranie przeciw nogom. Wcześniej tego brakowało, a przeciwko takim "gabarytowym" przeciwniczkom, typu Saba i Ryba, to obowiązkowe zagranie.
