You're working directly with the artist to flesh out the idea into something you can work with. Yes what is happening to the gaming community is exactly what's happening to the animation right now. But that can be very bad as most TV packages and all that are hosted on well TV and it means that there's not going to be any more interesting TV shows. You just really going to have to go to a streaming service which may not work all the time. Or you may not have enough money. CZcams is your best bet if you want to watch any sort of animation that is if they show their episodes for free. It also means that people who develop in the animation have to get a lot of support because they don't have super big teams that can work on a bunch of animations at once.
It's not impossible but it definitely makes everything harder.

At the end, the group that did the "best" as far as company valuation was the one that didn't focus on their products or services, but rather on the stock market, doing buybacks and such. Its a short-sighted view of what makes a business successful. Yes, you do well, but long-term, its very likely the company will go under or have to restructure itself when it can't maintain the cycle of pumping up the bottom line at all costs.

I'm not an animator, but I like to create games. For most reasons, indie games are always being over the top from games that were made by companies, cuz indie developers don't lack creativity and didn't get alot of pressure into them, unlike company games. Especially modders who are really great at making a 20 year old game functionally better than how the company does to it (I'm pointing at you, Rockstar). Much like in terms of animation, indie animation shows have been getting popular these days than the cartoons that are currently aired.

The building was removed, not the channel. Warner Bros is basically the HQ now while they still have the channel.

You know, as an beginner animator, I find this very disturbing. So apparently, companies want only quantity than quality? Sad

Am i only person who NEVER understood why people doing that? Everyone will start to put those things in their names and comments, blame random people for closing animation studios and basicly like possesed cultists will try to do everything to fulfil never existing prophecy?
Like seriousley, this will change NOTHING! Even if you will say studios now bad, and you want them return back to normal or else you will stop watching the show, they won't care as there is always new kids that WILL watch the show and enjoy it so studios won't lose anything at all

Isn't Cartoon Network doing a spin-off Regular Show series and an Adventure Time revival?

I'm on the side of crowdfunding. If animators are getting laid off in big numbers, they should join the side that would actually care about and respect them.

Chill, They didn’t shut down, just moved to a new building
This was a decision made by the previous management of WB back when they were known as “WarnerMedia” and the person who made this decision is named Jason Kilar. And the new building did took 3 years to construct
Plus, Brian A. Miller said on twitter that they were paying rent for the Burbank building for 20 years which is probably one of the reasons why they want to move.

Will try to share this around as much as I can. Dexter's Lab made me into a huge fan of animation and it would not have been possible without these animators who are getting shafted even though they stepped up during the pandemic. I may be of little consequence, but I stand with you guys.

Unfortunately there is no specific bad guy here, There is no evil greed top hat CEO... it is technology, trends and audience taste...The entire entertainment industry is burning down
Animation is expensive and complicated, and the audience is not very big... What really stuck the knife in animation is there's no place to show it (sustainably) anymore...TV is dead, streaming don't pay and cinema is basically Gambling, in high stakes with limited windows of opportunity To place the bet...is Fucked man

All I remember about cartoon network in these last few years was just how toxic their work environment was. Legit I've heard some horrible stories from people who have worked in Cartoon Network.

@@chaddwickfincher5835 Well if you look up Cartoon Network toxic work environment you'll see this news but when you scroll down you'll see some of the stories I've heard.
Little care for creatives, a massive harassment issues it's a bunch of reviews from glass window which was created to help people understand how bad or great a company can be.
Now of course you also have the rumors too which get worse and with the reviews I've seen about their Cartoon Network wouldn't surprise me toxic co-workers, apparently some lady kept bringing cats to the office even though they knew this person was highly allergic to cats which lead to this animators death of course their rumors so I take them with a grain of salt.
