    For me this would be the sweet spot in price to performance ratio along with the amount of wrenching on the ski. I wouldn't want to go stage 2 and the stage 1+ is a nice upgrade over stage 1.

    So if I go with the stage 1+ wit the 13/18 Impeller but don’t know how to Re-pitch the impeller that means I can’t ten the 88 tune because of rpm to high. If yes can I add on another bolt on part that will leave that out

    • @GreenHulkGarage
      @GreenHulkGarage  Před 3 lety

      It depends on a few different things. Engine RPM varies depending on your location of the world and weather conditions. Higher altitudes will have lower RPMs and hotter temperatures will have lower RPMs. Repitching an impeller is surprisingly easy, I have a whole video on how to do it!

    Another great video.
    One thing and correct me if I'm wrong, but on yamaha 1.8 supercharger engines. The breather hose sucks air in. Unlike any other crankcase vent I have ever dealt with which would expell the oily fumes into the intake. Like you said.

    • @GreenHulkGarage
      @GreenHulkGarage  Před 3 lety

      The breather hose is expelling crank case fumes into the intake tube! This is not good for engine performance which is why it is important to add the engine breather kit.

    Great video. Question: The stock filter isn’t that cotton too just like auto filter ? The marine filter looks like it’s gonna suck water in like a straw, better off running no filter from the supercharger...

    • @GreenHulkGarage
      @GreenHulkGarage  Před 3 lety

      The stock filter is similar to an auto filter. The marine filter is better than running no filter at all, it will prevent any solid particles from entering the intake. The chances of it "sucking water like a straw" is slim to none because it is high in the engine bay. However if it gets wet, it will dry almost instantly. A filter using a paper or gauze element will get wet and stay wet for extended periods of time causing problems.

    • @GreenHulkGarage
      @GreenHulkGarage  Před 3 lety

      Also, They cannot “void” your entire skis warranty for doing a mod to your ski.
      They can “deny coverage” on a failed item if the modification is proven to have caused the failure, but your entire skis warranty is not VOID!!
      For example, let’s say you reflash your ecu with a performance tune. If your steering breaks, instrument cluster goes bad, a sensor goes bad, etc, then the reflash could not have caused one of those items to fail so they cannot deny coverage.
      Now, if you have some sort of engine failure then they could absolutely deny coverage on the motor repair.
      Point i’m trying to make, is your entire skis warranty is not VOID if you mod your ski. Research Magnusson Moss Warranty Act. It protects us consumers when modding our skis 👍
