Inspired by my recent Oxford college review video, I decided to put this little edit together as a fun stop-gap/distraction until I have the time to start editing together some Trinity term vlog footage...I hope you enjoy(and who knows, maybe Keeping up with the Colleges might be on the horizon too ;))!
REMEMBER: as always these are just MY opinions, so if you are a prospective Oxford student trying to decide what college to apply to, check what college provides your course first, before visiting the individual college websites (and if there are no Covid-restrictions preventing you from doing so, I would highly recommend visiting Oxford on an open day to get a feel for the colleges/city) . ALWAYS email the designated college access officer for any specific college you have questions about (details will be available on the college websites, and don't be afraid to contact them because helping prospective students is literally their job), as they are the most qualified to provide you with accurate and helpful information.

I plan on doing classics at university and I was wondering what I should take for my a levels. Non of the colleges or sixth forms near me give latin or greek lessons but one of them which is my personal favorite at the moment offers a classic civilizations course and a history of art course. I want to choose the best ones to be able to study classics because I'm very interested and passionate about it. Thank you!!!

Hi! I'm sorry if this is too late and you've already made your decision(so this comes about quite pointlessly haha). I would definitely say that if you are thinking about studying Classics at university, Classical Civilization A-level is a very good taster of what it will be like, and I found the knowledge that I gained from A-level was still very useful to me in my first year, and helped me build up a nice foundation to spring off!

Ooh sounds interesting, I am not in the U.S so I do not have that system. But I am thinking of doing the IB + Latin so I do not have to do a 4-year degree. Also I am interested in Classics & English. I still have many years to go, but planning my future so I am ready.
