thanks for all the continued support too !
Might get Adam to do mine
Haha another customer didn’t pay video coming ? 😂
Nice to have an empty clean loft! Good job mate. 👏
I know, could have hoovered it first tho ey ? 😂 thanks mark
Another top job great video!!! Loving the one handed fitting proper skills
haha thanks mate 👏🏼
Cracking video. Keep up the great work.
Cheers mate 👏🏼
“A right tight…. naughty word” 🤣
😂😂😂 keeping it clean 🧼
Nice one mate 👍👍 good to see Ryan back 🙌🏻🙌🏻 love them downlights without a massive can on back 👌👌
That’s why I love them for soffits especially as sometimes you can actually fit them in UNDER a roof joist and it wont touch it still. It’s only 50mm deep
Those quinetic receivers fit well in a Wiska 607 box.
Good to know mate 👌🏼
Good to see Mr Ray-Ban back, nice tidy job there. Lucky son of a gun not having all that insulation to deal with.
Mr Ray ban 😂😂😂
Hi Sean, nice to see you both back together again, it least you can now get Ryan to do all the dirty jobs...
I wish it was that easy 😂
Well done job..😀
Cheers brother 👊🏼
Good video mate👍🏻
Thanks mate
Cool white or warm white is the sparks equivalent of trying to plug in a USB device it's a 50/50 shot and you always guess wrong.
Why is this so accurate 😂😂😂
Nice little job there Sean and good to see the smiling Christmas Elf back too. 🤣
Never used Ricoman DL's... always go for JCC V50s, especially for soffits. Touch wood no issues so far. 😒
Oh, and that ugly mug... it's one only a visually impaired mother could love... especially as it heads out the door for the very last time. Boom... boom. 😂
Great video as always.
I don’t mind the new v50s but after all the trouble with the first batch it kind of puts me off them a bit. I usually use E6 pro’s. But I love these being only 50mm deep.
Love seeing you smile mate. Great end result. Quickwire is the bomb! Did Ryan get deported? Smuggled his way back into the country?
Hahahahaha
Fitted a nice looking flood light from TLC with the Quinetic box fitted internally and used the key fob as the switch.
Yes I’ve seen those online but never used them
Nicely done again mate. I generally use the ener-j receiver when I’m doing soffit jobs and put it in a wiska 607 to keep it free from any dust or damage but was nice to see it being done with a quinetic and wago combo.
I’ve actually got a soffit job coming up and will be filming it just waiting on the client deciding how they want it switched whether it’s by a cell, receiver or just manually by changing a 1 gang to a two gang in an upstairs bedroom
Is it just me or at 4.00 was there some Irish writing on that joist 👀
Yea the enerj is nice too, much smaller receiver as well I’ve used them a few time too. 👌🏼 can’t wait to see yours
Good mate
Thank you
Can you tell me the downlights used and remote connector please
@@neilcotterill5340 quickwire downlights (check their website) and Quinetic switches (TLC website)
👍
👏🏼
Doing one of these today, 6 lights. Just wondering what you charge.
Always depends on the job tbh mate but around £70 per light
Top video mate 👍
How do you measure up to make sure you miss the joists did you measure it up from inside the loft
this one was a bit harder, first hole was a pure guess and hope, then once I can see it from inside I can measure them. Usually you can see where the soffit boards have been nailed to the joists so it’s easy, this however was plastic over boarded on the old wooden soffit so no clues.
Should it ever cock up, I carry 70mm soffit vents that I can just put in the wrongly cut hole, but never happened yet 🤞🏻

Cheers pal
Which wholesalers generally stock the quinetic?
Quinetic is TLC’s own brand so you can only buy it from them, they deliver it usually next day from their website. There is a few other brands that are pretty much identical tho, Ener-J being one and that’s in a few wholesalers such as Denmans. Enerj receiver is a LOT smaller too and will fit inside a standard Wagobox if needed.
Thanks that's brilliant! Loving the videos mate! Are you from Manny way?
@@ShaneSiKBoYBrown I am mate 👏🏼
Need more north west lads on YT. 🖒🏼
Nice, I just use Google and smart plug/socket :)
Not a bad idea
Can set up routine like sunset+15min then off at 1am etc :) price of BG smart socket and Google mini etc :)
@@stephencoulthard1718 that’s actually really good tbh, nice and easy to
Very tidy job Sean, thanks for showing that quinetic gear I've never seen it before. We have a job coming up where getting switch wires in would be a pain in the rse and we're going to use Philips hue lamps and switches but will use this now likely the grid switches. Can you link two receivers to one switch as we are going to have the outdoor lights run off different circuits. Cheers
Yep, you can link up to 10 switches to one receiver and I think an unlimited amount of receivers to one switch 👌🏼
TLC have a good range of Quinetic and loads of information should answer your questions on linking them 😊
What size is those ?
70mm
Rocket Science
That’s how it feels 😂
Why would you want a house to look like a UFO!
some people don’t live on this planet 🥁budum tsss 😂
Nice one Sean good to see Ryan back. Sorry haven’t been around for a while. Mate but always keep in touch via Instagram.
Ahhh your still alive and kicking ! Nice to hear from ya again mate
@@Cablesmith doing some trade exams on HVAC, gas furnace, AC condenser and heat pumps plus refrigerant EPA608 certification. That and the missus wants me to redo our bathroom, with new bedroom and two new bathrooms to put in using a structural engineer to check the calculations. Just a bit busy mate. 🤦🏾👍🏾 All that and normal day work.
