      I find so very little comfort in many of the Buddha’s teachings. But then, comfort is impermanent. I get it. But those here, suffering from the loss of a loved one, might I recommend the Christian mystics. Joel Goldsmith’s Unfolding Consciousness, pages 80-84 has provided great solace and peace to me. You see, God is Love. God is Consciousness. And both are Eternal. Don’t think of consciousness as the mind. It comes from the heart. As long as your beloved is in your consciousness, she is still with you. In fact, your loved ones who have passed are closer in many ways, without this “Dharma” in the way. Let go of the sorrow. Hold onto the love. Grief is the price of love. You grieve as deeply as you loved...Love is the great experience of life itself.
      I hope this helps some of you here.
      Namaste

      The Path to God has many roads. Seeking ENLIGHTENMENT in order to KNOW GOD, is food for you mind and for the ability to create PEACE and SOLITUDE within yourself.
      Those that share negative responses because you seek knowledge, should be forgiven. The worse sin, is GLORIFIED IGNORANCE.
      I always tell those who embrace their closed minds…. I say: There are many ways to kneel to God. As said by: RUMI

    Samaneri dear it's feels ok when death seems something farway but i dont know how many times but whenever i hear her footsteps outside my doors i feel panicked and desperate to somehow avoid this meeting by all means inspite of all the courage i use to feel when she's far away maybe due to this major shift due to grace which thankfully keep me out of the little prison i was in before most of the time, but i don't know why inspite of all the peace, i myself choose or i get tricked back in the prison,old habits possess me and seems to convince that all this peace n stillness are boring , i distroy it all by my own hands and initially it seems a great fun but gradually it leads to misery n pain as it always did, i suffer and is lucky to have not been dead yet as all this can very easily be fatal, ah, but now after being in this circle of being peaceful, burning it all off, suffering, nearly dying, grace somehow reviving me off getting back to peace basking in the freedom, old habits coming in , back to misery again and then....... Same story,
    I am tired now please guide me somehow to not get tempted back in the hell.

    Hi Samaneri. I bless the day I came across your You Tube channel♥. I try and apply the teachings in my everyday life.
    As for the lesson today about nursing/ take care of the elderly particularly our parents: I want to think that everything you read with regards to our parents having raised us and us having to take care of them when they are older is true. But what if one's parent(s) neglected one at birth and now are struggling and needing one to take care of them? How can one possibly find forgiveness in one's heart to be able to move past the pain of having been neglected themselves so that one is able to take care of their elderly parent(s)?

    • @SamaneriJayasara
      @SamaneriJayasara  Před 11 měsíci

      Yes, this is a difficult but very worthwhile challenge to face as it can release lifetimes of negative karma if approached with wisdom. We have to reflect skillfully that nothing happens without causes, but we do not need to take these 'happenings' personally, as 'me' or 'mine'. The Buddha taught that we owe our parents a huge karmic debt for raising us and bringing us into this world, perhaps regardless of how well we judge they did this. There are so many valuable Dhamma lessons on offer for you now with this situation that presents, so if you can approach it with that attitude then so much letting go can happen - of resentment, guilt, grief, anger, pain, confusion, etc.. We can't force forgiveness either, but with developing Awareness and equal taste towards all appearances, we may find that a natural metta (loving kindness) begins to swell in our hearts. Sending you and your parents much love and warmest wishes for this opportunity for healing. 💗🌏🌻
