Anytime you have a kids pool or even a regular pool you should put something in it that floats or in the case of a smaller pool, a board that can rest in the water and on the side of the pool for the small critters that may stumble in.
We call it a squirrel"s life raft. It's good to do that with anything that carries water.

I love how people have seen actors and stunt doubles break through a "window" (called: sugar/candy glass) in movies and think that they themself can break through a real window, and even if they do manage to break through, they will have more than a cop to worry about since the glass will most likely cut them up reeeeal good.

If he had put a cover on the pool so animals like the squirrel or frogs, insects, etc, couldnt get in in the first place that woulda been better. He (assuming it was his pool) is the reason that the squirrel nearly died in the first place.
Yeah I gave a squirrel some fruits nuts after it fell from a tree. All I can do is since I'm homeless. But guess what all I looked like was weird for doing it and I didn't take a video of what I did so I'll never get appreciation for it I don't know taking videos while you're saving people for saving something just kind of irkes me. Movies and video games make people assume they can do stupid things. If anything, he should be grateful that the glass didn't break. Otherwise he would've just wound up getting himself likely hospitalized in addition to arrested.

@@vomm TF? However much you hate the police, trying to spread the message that trying to flee is a good idea will just get people hurt or killed. There is no gain, only loss. You can think your arrest is unjustified or whatever, but police wont hurt you if you legitimately dont resist. (dont try to cite the BS where the person is clearly resisting and say they arent.) They are much more likely to hurt you if you try to flee or resist because you have shown yourself to be unpredictable.
Spreading that message means police in general have to expect people fleeing much more often and have to be much firmer and more aggressive in arrests to ensure their own safety and the safety of the suspect.
