I missed the center-driven NBA league in the 1990s. Olajuwon, Ewing, David Robinson, Alonzo Mourning, Oneal .. those were the greats with strong defense down low. MJ-led bulls had made center less significant because of the triangle offense.
The Knicks' announcers today are the best. That said, I really miss Marv Albert. He was the longtime voice of the Knicks. Thanks a lot, Jimmy "the Wino" Dolan. 🤬

That’s not true Shaq at 22 years old by 1995 it was Hakeem, David and Shaq fighting for the MVP and had separated themselves from the pack. Shaq avg 40 in 4 games on Ewing/ Oakley/Mason. That season Shaq avg 29-13-2-3, went to the finals, was second in MVP and led the league in scoring.
Was this the game where Wilt Chamberlain joined Shaq & Ewing at center court, Ewing looked like a power forward next Wilt, then Wilt shook Shaq with his hand?
