    Thanks for the review. I purchased this extractor and I'm looking forward to moving on from my Chinese wobble one. I did want to mention the fan from the new controller housing is way louder than the old one they used to use.

      I have to say that the new box seems to be warping a bit. I guess it has to do with the 3-D Printing. Thanks for the comment!

    I purchased this extractor in January. It is a very nice machine. I can't wait to use it this season. I mounted my extractor on a triangular plywood base and added casters bolted through the feet of the extractor. I can roll it out of the way when not in use.

    I started out with a 2-frame manual then a 3- frame motorized. I got hillco’s heated bottling tank this year and love it. I plan on ordering their 9- frame extractor like this one this year.

      You won’t regret it! I’m looking at getting their heated bottling tank! 😉

    I have the Hillco 18 frame. 18 mediums or 9 deeps. I've used it 2 seasons and love it. It has preformed perfectly! No complaints. I did bolt it to the floor. I think that is must cause if it gets a little out of balance,and it will , there are no issues. If you need a heated bottling tank, I recommend Hillco's. They are top quality and cost a little less that some on the market. And the no drip valve doesn't drip.

      I absolutely am in the market for a heated bottling tank. Thank you for your suggestion.

      @@RyanGrady I think Hillco has 3 sizes. I have the 19 gal. No more 5 gal buckets with the so called honey gate for me. The heated tank makes filling bottles actually fun.

    Will a 5 gallon bucket along with two sieves fit under the gate? Many thanks.

    • @RyanGrady
      @RyanGrady  Před 2 měsíci

      I’m not 100% sure to be honest. I use a bucket with micron filters and sieves. It fits underneath just fine, but I’m not 100% sure if my bucket is exactly 5 gallons or not.

      @@RyanGrady the 5 gallon bucket will fit with the strainers but I use a frosting bucket I got from a cake decorating place and it is taller.

    I'm not a fan of the printed box for the motor controller. They look cheap and unfinished compared to the previous stainless steel metal boxes.

      Yeah I have to say that mine is starting to warp a bit now that it has some age on it.
