I saw another guys video just now, and he turned his 5-gallon bucket upside down, and it fit right down inside the tank perfectly for draining it. I'll be trying that tip in a few weeks when I extract.
I also have the 7 gal. bottling tank, I really like this thing. 1 tip , I over filled mine too and water ran down the front, I used a turkey baster to pull some water out. as soon as you see any water in the side glass it's full.
I thought about buying that tank while I was down at NAHBE but I was budgeting at the time. I might just go ahead though and make the purchase next honey harvest.

Awesome tank , i'm still using 5 gallon buckets with a heated box. Hoping to get one this year coming.
Does your 3d printed gate turn sideways like mine does? I had to reef it on with channel locks
