So what is Contouring?
Contouring is adding more definition or shape to your face by using a foundation/powder at least two shades darker than your complexion. It gives off a more chiseled and slimmer effect of your face.
And what is Highlighting?
Highlighting is when you enhance the parts of your face that is hit by natural light with a concealer one or two shades lighter than your completion.
By highlighting your face, you make it look healthier and give your face a beautiful glow.

I love you freely. This was more informational. I have a wide nose it's hard to see where the nose bridge is and every time when I try to contour I end up washing my face because of the mess I do and I decided to stop it as you can see on my profile picture. Fabulous, this is very useful for me even if I'm pale yellow complected, I can follow your technique with colours that suit me. I don't have the beautiful high cheek bones and the defined jaw line you have, but contouring might help. Thanks for the great tutorial.

Beat for the gods darling! I never really understood highlighting and contouring so I don't do it because I do not want to look like I'm on cirque du soleil lol. This is very informative still afraid to do the contouring but I will try the highlighting. I'm not good with makeup so I stick to lipstick, mascara and eyeliner and but definitely will be using highlighting tips I love the glow it gives. X

I was also struggling with the effects of aging especially those darn laugh lines that came in pretty deeply.
