Ever wondered what a Vanlife Festival might be like?
Today we head off to the south of England show ground for a 3 day event. I arrived on the Friday afternoon and set up our pitch as Sam was coming later after the kids finished school. We also had friends arriving after work that day too.
This was a well organised and well attended event with plenty of talks and activities going on.We didn't get time to do everything unfortunately. Saying that, Sam got to do the breath work session TWICE with the conscious heart warriors @OurVanTales We learnt about foraging, I joined a drumming circle, met @RoamingRadfords and saw some amazing self built camper vans. Entertainment wise, the bands were so good. I listened and Sam danced to THE KILLERZ and DJ CHRIS MOYLES played a fantastic 90's hangover set.
There was lots for the kids too with inflatables, archery, paintball guns, silent disco and much more. I met up with VANLIFE EATS who were putting on cooking displays throughout the weekend. There were stalls to buy everything from new converted vans to kitchen sinks and handmade jewellery.
Vans ranged from Split screen VW's to a converted Belgian Army truck that can go almost anywhere.
If you are considering going to one of these events then in my opinion, they are well worth it if this one is anything to go by.
I'm sure we will be trying others and probably be coming back here next year.

Her van was probably the most amazing van conversion I have ever seen. There were many that came a close second but this one took top spot for me.
