the replica from the film is better with all folds and details and at 32 pounds
Thanks for the review. You saved me some bucks. I have seen higher-tech greeting cards for less than $10. I'm stuck with an interactive wand with nothing to do with it, since the map doesn't do much for me. Perhaps they'll release some more interactive merchandise before my wand dies.
I know this is late, like REALLY late. But if you choose to go back to Harry Potter World, you can get your wand repaired, so if it dies you can use it again.
I had no idea of the interactions between the characters. I have only ever used the “try me” one that they provide for in the shops. Shape never seemed to work, so I’m glad I was able to see a brand new one work properly.
So the footsteps are only in a very small part.... I think ill save my buck and get the regular version'
The wand that this map comes with looks a LOT like the wand Harry Potter had in the first two movies before they changed them for the third movie and so on.... Thank you for the video! I want this, and the non-electronic map, i'll be getting them both.
the price is high for interactive items bt enjoyment and happiness it brings is priceless
this is seriously just wasting money.....hopefully in the future there will be a more worthy map....

I think I'd rather get the Marauder's Map from Noble Collection.
I have an ordinary version, and I think it's better, but they're both the same in design. If anyone can make head or tail of the different floors, that'd be cool! It's not the parchment feel I was expecting its a laminated stiff paper/soft card feel. Being sad but I also want to work out what all the writing means...guessing it's latin, or Middle English?
this is really awesome some people don't like it but it's really cool you can see all of them still in Hogwarts!

It's a bit boring since the footsteps can be in a small part of the map
Its lame that only one page is back lit from the stupid box so all steps are only on one page. How lame!!

It’s actually missing a ton of pages from the other one...so you’re getting less product for one page that has light up footsteps...this definitely could’ve been better.
Well, I mean, our technology could have done better but it's a start I guess 😅 I'll just buy me the replica. I kind of thought this would be made of some weird material and not paper-like. This is more like a toy you'd find at walmart lol

For everybody saying its dumb, in reality, its much more fun, brighter, better sounds, and you can play a game. For example, you must get Hermione, Harry and Ron into a room before the Professors find them and mUCH MORE!

What I dont understand is why it is so overpriced, like it is not even that good, I expected it to be more detailed with the electronics, when I bought it I was disappointed about it. Probably made in china for under ten bucks
