They can still add articles of impeachment during the debate in the Justice Committee before they vote.
They chose to go with the bare minumim because adding too many articles would be detrimental for the communication with the public. They want the motivations for the impeachment to be clear, especially to those who do not pay close attention to politics and want to just be filled in very quickly every once in a while.

Just Another Day In the Life Again, I think the point is that if they can prove one impeachable offence well, that’s enough to remove him from office. The democrats have submitted two. Adding more articles complicates the process. I understand your concern that they’re not charging Trump with everything that they theoretically could, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they should. I really believe that in this case, with all the accusations that “the inquiry is too complicated for the public to understand” being thrown about, that less is more, here.

@@justanotherdayinthelife9841 I think the hope is that if Trump is removed, the actual crimes he committed can be used to indict him once he becomes a private citizen again and before the Statute of Limitations runs out on those crimes. If not, well, the dems played their political game pretty well considering the circumstances and we move on to the election. I doubt that another impeachment process would be politically savvy, it would just strenghen the GOP argument that the dems are harassing the President. It's a very fine line to walk, but the dems are doing it well. Have faith, my friend.
