I did a little research on the "high caliber" AA guns on the Okhotnik (76 mm air-defense gun M1914/15)
Apparently these were developed before proper weaponized aircraft were invented, which makes these guns "Anti-Balloon Guns".

Sorry for the wait once again, just couldn't find myself the time to get productions going. Work, family, general nuisances, small things that isn't a big deal but adds up. When I'm sorting those out I kept thinking about making videos that I couldn't spare the time for. So when I finally uploaded, I feel so relieved and liberated, then reality kicks me back.

there is nothing funnier than slapping omahas in this thing. i had a battle where three of them sailed next to each other shooting bbs instead of me 7km away. needless to say they realized way too late.
20 citadels and 3 sunken omahas later is was crying of lauthter

As someone who just got the Okhotnik from the santa crates, this video was perfectly timed :D
This ship is also the best ship in the game for doing torpedo tasks in co-op. The short range matters less with the bots sailing into you, while you can spam your quick-reloading 12 tubes without having to invest anything into them.

It is a good gunboat tho. Such a low hull means barely anyone can hit you at range, that's why you spec range perk for 9.2→11 km.
Not once I've been outgunning the likes of Minks on open water only because they think being +2 tier means they have superiority in gunpower and survivability.

The most bonkers DD in the game. So much firepower in torps and guns mounted in such a flimsy hull. But if you play her right, the DMG you can do is crazy.

Yuro, I've been wondering: lots of your torpedobeat dodging takes advantage of how real-life ship handling is modeled into WoWs. Not prop walk or anything like that, but the way vessels behave when maneuvered at specific speeds. Do you have real life experience as a helmsman or deck officer?
how vehicle behave is depended on the center of mass, the steer position, and the condition of surface area, especially the friction. in this case, driving a ship is equivalent with driving a rear wheel steer car on a slippery road.
HeT, if they really played ultimate admiral, their Starlingrad shall have a 16" main gun, their grosse kurfurst may have torpedo tube at both side or rear, and most importantly, there shall be no submarine XD
