  • Story of the first Rambutan farm in India. An initiative in year 2008 cutting down rubber trees and planting high yielding Rambutan trees in 4 acres in home town Kanjirappally, Kerala State. A record harvest of 12MT from 120 trees in 2015 proved Rambutan as a commercially successful crop. And thousands of farmers have boldly taken up Rambutan now to increase farm incomes!

Here in Philippines, especially here in northern Mindanao, almost every home has it own rambutan tree.. during harvesting season, it drives rambutan price down to 0.3 USD per kilo, and we're talking about the best variety of rambutan.

i bought some at the store yesterday, it is my "covid thing" I am trying something from the grocery that I have never had before. I looked up how to eat them, and then your site was on the side strip. The first site, included to create seedlings form the seeds, and I happen to have a few empty pots with the plant stores being closed. The trees are absolutely beautiful, like you have a small piece of heaven in your yard. I want to put them in everyone's salad and let hem guess if they are fish, plant, or animal? I asked around at the grocery yesterday and most people thought they were some sort of anemone. Trying them later this evening, and planting the seeds. Peace and blessings!
