If you do the mission collecting the orbs for the seven heroine statues in gerudo town (the heroines secret given by Rotana) it leads you to a room where all 4 gerudo weapons, a shield and all 3 types of gems respawn every blood moon. Just make sure to place a travel medallion down to make it an easy fast travel spot.

For anyone that wants an easy guaranteed gerudo claymore, one of the bokoblins in the monster camp between North Gerudo Ruins and Kara Kara Bazaar always spawns with one.

You know i've been running around the depths for like 10 hours of my total playthrough but never noticed that the ghosts a) even had a purpose other than "ooo free weapon" and b) that they weren't gloom infested, I just assumed all f the weapons in the game were gloom infested. Thank you!
For the Scimitar I got Durability up twice, then long throw then it was Attack up +10. I was so happy with that result xD

Funny i was doing exactly this moments ago, i love the Gerudo weapons and hunt for durability more than Atk up.
The only bad part is that many ghost already have locked weapons if you were exploring the depths by foot (thank god i did it flying instead) but its only a matter of grabbing and dropping them to just wait for a blood moon and have new ones.
I’m pretty sure that you can ultra hand them and it will work

Such a cool weapons. If anyone needs for the Blood Moon there's a trick to force that event in less than 5 minutes instead of waiting 2 hs. 40 min, i saw it upload today, it might be helpful for this.👍
Something I noticed is that the octorok that repair your weapons can buff them too, so if you get a +9 weapon and give it to an octorok when it is damaged it can spit out a +10. Meaning that you don't really need to reset for a perfect one in the depths. Honestly given that they don't last too long I think I am good with getting a +8/+9 weapon seeing as how I'll be tossing it to an octorok soon enough hahaha.
Especially because the +attack isn't even doubled with the fused weapon, so the extra bit of damage doesnt even matter compared to the 110 you're adding with the lynel horn
Silver lynel mace horn 55 damage and attach it Gerudo Claymore or Gerudo Scimitar when damage are over 10 (Stone Octorocks give critical hit or attack up but not are guaranted). Blood Moon weapons that can respawn are guaranted (attack up, durability up, defensive up if shield or critical up if stone octorock split).
Another thing, you can find all the decayed versions in the first few rooms of the thunder temple entrance

i love the scimitar of the seven, but i find the durability and slight damage bonus for zora weapons when wet is better.
2:33 I got the claymore once from a molduga as it dropped two chests, otherwise I’ve never received one so I guess it’s a rare phenomena indeed.
I was wondering how those ghosts worked. The first time I returned to one of those stone stacks there was no ghost, but then I noticed one respawn at a location I was passing frequently. It makes sense it would be tied to blood moons. I guess that's one reason why they don't happen while you're down there.
I got a pristine gerudo claymore randomly I was so glad cos I had put a sensor on one before
I found that if you fuse a silver lynel saber horn to a light scale trident you can get a 154 dmg weapon, but only if it gets wet so it's not as reliable but still, That's a lot of damage!
I also like the Royal weapons, good durability. Zora weapons are excellent and insanely strong if it’s raining.
in the gerudo mountain-depths you can get royal and royal guards weapons, I went there for the first time yesterday and I only got 2 times a non-royal/royal guards weapon for the first time.

I just have gerudo weapons in my inventory the seconds I got access to them. However don't sleep on Zora equipment, they are highly durable but don't lose to gerudo in term of damage.

I got a Gerudo scimitar and claymore from the Lighting Temple both were obtained before the room with the fire trap.
I'd actually go for durability with these gerudo weapons, i'd stick a gleeok ice horn and use a shock like shield for shock aoe on bash..and that ice break damage with a lvl 3 dmg buff is nasty...
Also some of the monster camps have claymore drop from black bokkoblins

that's tideous, tg I haven't updated my game and I can still keep duping, anyways it is a very nice way to farm weapon
in the corner there are four lightroots, the best thing you can do is to stablish a perimeter. You will find a lot of ghost in this area.
do you have to load from the light root and walk 20 miles to get to the spear spawn or could you set a medallion?
Can you get them from amiibo? I know you can get the decay versions and ive got both the decayed and pristine versions of other weapons but not the gerudo stuff

I managed to spawn a gerudo scimitar on the ghost. Saved the game before picking it up, but it is always coming as a normal scimitar, no enchantments :/
If you already have all slots full of weapons just use ultrahand to take the weapon off the ghost and it will respawn with a different one next bloodmoon.

Kills most enemies in one hit.
I only get travelers crap and solider and get no Gerudo but I broke all of the Gerudo weapons Claymore, Smiter, Spear

A better way to break the weapons is by hitting a Gibson with the weapon and since it takes a ridiculous amount of hits to kill a gibdo if you don't use elemental items

The only question I has is once you obtain a pristine weapon from one of these guys can they start spawning above ground or must we keep farming in the Depths to encounter them?

I think scimitar seven have additional 1 att bonus (138). Although it only 1 point diff, scimitar seven hve more durability than normal scimitar. But then again, you cant fix scimitar seven with octorok, but must make it again with the smith😢

You only need to break the one you want. I haven’t gotten a spear at all and I got the sword.
what if i keep getting travelers swords
Going to the ghost for the Gerudo Scimitar never works for me. He’s only ever holding a Traveler’s Sword. I even picked it up one time thinking a different weapon would respawn next blood moon, and still the same thing. Am I doing something wrong here?
If the ghost doesn't switch weapon then that one won't work. Just try another one! It worked for me😉

@@miskothebandit5761. Break a decayed scimitar (if you want a pristine scimitar) 2. Go to the depths below Gerudo area and do a manual save (that's what i did, a manual save) 3. Find a ghost with a one-handed sword. Now, if that ghost is holding ex travelers sword, reload from that manual save, go back to the ghost and if he is still holding the same sword, try another ghost and repeat step 3. Hope this helps.

Lightscale trident is still better in my opinion when wet with a silver lynel horn it does 154 dmg

At the Vah Naboris helm ruins, there are a total of three Like-Likes, if you want to try and farm them and not do massive amounts of reloads! EDIT: Also, with Gerudo weapons, I actually prefer to get Durability instead; most of the damage comes from the items fused to them, and fusion doesn't add as much durability as other weapons, so durability really is more important.

No, don’t break the scimitar ! Instead, grab a Gerudo shield, diamonds and 5 flint. That will make the Scimitar of the Seven and the Daybreaker when you talk to the jewelry lady and do her quest. The scimitar of the Seven has more damage and is more durable than a pristine Gerudo scimitar.
You make the pristine gerudo scimitar into the scimitar of the seven
you're only breaking it to get it to spawn with the shadow soldiers...also you can only carry one Scimitar at a time, and the pristine gerudo scimitar has the potential to be stronger than the Seven one.

All gerudo weapons have horrible durability and fuses dont add their normal +25 durability either. They only add 5.
Skip gerudo weapons beyond the legendary sword. Theyre bad.

Damn I’m about 60 hours into the game and I don’t know you can fuse things to your sword to make them better. Raging because I couldn’t take over this village lol

biggest problem with gerudo weapon is that they break too fast. most of their weapon got like 15 durability. i test it out. even after you fuse them, they only get up to 20 durability max. that mean you can swing them 20 time and they are gone. so unless you want to be left with no weapon every fight. dont just use gerudo weapon
did you get the pristine version or the regular gerudo weapons?

I don't really care about weapons strength because I want the battles to last longer..If i use a strong weapon I fell like I'm using a Ancient Arrow and I would rather give the monsters a chance by using weaker weapons
