When you upscale a video with AI the important thing is to have a low-res video in a clear enough quality to have a great upscale making the video look a lot better than the original. For the 480p original version that used to be here is not good enough of a source to try and restore. You need to use an archive of the original video that would be stored for a good restoration like the 4K Thriller video. What you did here is give people better quality at the cost of creating artifacts. Weird Al's videos should get a better restoration.

Although Yankovic refuses to use parody ideas from other people, Madonna is partly responsible for "Like a Surgeon". Madonna asked one of her friends how long it would take until Yankovic satirized her song "Like a Virgin" as "Like a Surgeon". This friend was a mutual friend of Al's manager, Jay Levey. When word got back to Yankovic, he decided it was a good idea and wrote the song. This is the only known time that Yankovic has obtained a parody idea directly from the original artist.
I also enjoyed his food related album, containing songs like "Eat it!" (after Michael Jackson), "The Rye or the Kaiser" (after the Rocky whatever theme "Eye of the Tiger"), and "Taco Grande." And I wonder how Cat Stevens (Yusif Islam) feels about "Cat in the Kettle?" Or for that matter, half the Chinese restaurant owners in the US?
lurch321 You're right. I didn't look it up because I thought my memory was good enough, and that particular song "sounded like" a Cat Stevens song of the same general time period. Several Cat Stevens and Harry Chapin songs that I remember were sung in a similar vocal and accompaniment style, for example "Summer Breeze" and "Taxi." Each of them could well have covered some of the other's songs in the '60s and early '70s.
I need to get some old CDs and listen to both of them, and I hope Yusif Islam's banishment from the US over "giving to Islamic terrorism" (is that still in effect, by the way?) doesn't keep his songs from being sold.
lurch321 All three of them sound similar, in fact. Now I'm not sure of any song that is DEFINITELY Cat Stevens without looking him up. I don't know if they had a name for that style when it was being composed, Soft Rock maybe. Groups like Alabama were merging it with Country also.
As for modern Country, as a non-country fan, all the male singers and all the female singers sound alike to me. Can i say a big thank you to you weird Al. Before i have to go into the hospital for any operation, i listen to this and watch your video. It's a tradition of mine that helps me laugh and relax, plus see a funnier side of things. Even my surgeons have seen a bit of it, and we had a good laugh, which definitely helped break the ice.
