    I'm not sure if I'm missing something and this could be wrong but what you could do is instead of saying closest you could say place your card on any bundle; if they place it on a bundle closest to you just say okay and now place a bundle closest to you on top of it.
    I feel like it just makes it seem more random but it doesn't really change that much, to be honest.
    Just a suggestion not sure if it still makes the trick work but i think it does.

  • @sasipalagummi
    @sasipalagummi Před 3 lety

    I agree with the comment made by Michael Rae. 15 cards between blue card and selected card is necessary to perform this trick as intended. One may not perform accurately if the above condition is not met.
    I would like to try this trick with minor variation particularly when one is not proficient mastering the art of slip force the Spectator's card.
    We can ask spectator to pick one card from the pack of 52 and ask him to place it face-down on the table. You can pick one helper/prediction card ...say 'Ace of Spades' and place it face-up next to his selected (face-down) card.
    1) Now deal two piles of 15 cards each and set aside the rest.
    2) Ask spectator to cut one of the piles (of 15 cards) into two sub-piles and ask him to place his 'selected card' on top of one of the sub-piles.
    3) Now place the second pile of 15 cards on top of sub-pile having the spectator's card. On top of this.. place helper/prediction card (Ace of Spades) in face-up mode.
    4) On top of this place second sub-pile. The entire deck will have 32 cards.
    5) Deal the deck equally of 16 cards each. Discard the pile not having the helper card. Continue this till one ends up with two cards comprising of helper card and spectator's selected card.

      He never did a riffle force, it was a backslip force. The camera angle isn't the best for the riffle force it really should be done parallel to the spectator's eyes and the cards are used to hide the move, but you can't do that when the camera is looking straight down

    another variation I think is that you can kinda make it impromptu by removing the forced card by using a double faced card instead to find the final card ..... and just use a story to why the card was found ..... perhaps it’s a love story of 2 cards that were separated ...... at the end when you wanna reveal the mystery card ..... you get rid of the chosen card and reveal the double faced card as they merged (as if we will never know who the lover was) .... but you would need to make a double faced card that has the 2 different color of decks.
    If any of that made sense....

    • @AdamFloro

    • @mjrauhal
      @mjrauhal Před 3 lety

      Since one part of the 15 cards on the magician's side goes above the chosen (forced) card and the other below the prediction card, there's always 15 cards in between them (or, to put it another way more useful for later, the prediction card is the 16th card counting from the chosen card).
      Then when you deal them out alternating between two decks, you toss out half the cards while keeping them in the same deck (since 16 is an even number). Thus you end up with the prediction card being the 8th from the chosen card. And then the 4th. And then the 2nd. And then the 1st and at that point you only have the two cards, and all the while up till then it's been an even distance so they stay in the same deck.

    Just wondering. Rather than saying we need two piles of 15 cards, just casually spread off two piles of 15 using a quick series of block counts, such as 3, 5, 2, 2, 3 ... dropping each group on the table as you mentally count them. No need to mention "15" just say we need two piles of cards.
