I think this gives new meaning to many are called but few are chosen. If you've been through hardship whether poverty or abuse or something else equivalent, God is testing your faith because He was teaching you how to trust Him. He got you out of those sticky situations because He has a plan for you, that you will someday use your experiences to reach out to other people and be a witness of the faith. So if you're in such a situation where you're always going "why me, Lord", know that He is trying to teach you something good.

Instead of calling them Bible stories let's describe them as a Biblical account, a true account. Saying it that way gives more respect to The Scriptures. They aren't just mere stories but true happenings with God's People (not characters).
