JK Tech just got one the other day that's used and it still works perfectly fine no real slowdowns, also if your coming from a big android phone to the regular 6s don't be surprised if you don't get any more than a regular day before a charge.

I’ve had my 6s for almost a year and it has been the best phone I’ve ever owned, it’s never slowed down, never gave me issues, the camera is amazing,there are just so many reasons why i still love this phone, I can easily say I’d recommend it to anyone in 2018, great video nick!

I’ve had a 6s for 2 years now and I don’t plan on upgrading anytime soon. If you’re deciding on which iPhone to buy, i’d say the 6s. It’s cheap & function just as good as the 7 or 8 with a headphone jack. It’s worth putting some thought into.

i just bought 6s dec 2017...it really great phone...fast and smooth..the camera also beautiful...touch id is really fast...and battery life is good...love my iphone 6s....this my first iphone experience....android user to IOS user...

mine out of the box is on ios 10.2.1..... want to update it to ios 11 but the update still requested...but the battery on ios 10 is normal for iphone still need to charge at end of day...but my friend buy iphone 6s to and he update to ios 11 the battery life is a bit batter on ios 11 then ios 10...he can get 5 hours usage at 17% battery left and mine 4 hours 40 mint usage at 20% battery....the storage management also good at ios 11 the ios 10...he have 15 apps but the storage use is around 6 GB from 64GB but mine have 7 apps but use around 4GB from 64GB.......
your phone is gonna be noticeably slower and battery life worse on ios 11,you can jailbreak your iphone aswell and customize it,if you want to jailbreak it then dont update and go to reddit/r/jailbreak for help

Still a great phone. I have the 6s 128 gb version. Not too big and not too small either. Battery is not that great. But as long as I shut off blue tooth and wi-fi, I get more battery life. It's got a great video editor. Performance is great! I cannot afford the new iphones or even last year's model. I really don't need the latest and greatest Iphone. This will do just fine in 2018. :)

It's definitely worth it. As long as you update to the latest ios, you should be fine for the next few years. Best Buy might honor the battery replacement price. Check with Best Buy. :)
I have had my iPhone 6s (32GB) for over one year. I have almost 3 thousand photos, 64 apps downloaded by me. I play games on it. And I still have memory.
Best phone I have ever had. I had no issues with it whatsoever.

I upgraded from the 16gb 4S to the 128gb 6S in 2015 and I’m using it in 2018. Man, I still love this phone and I’m not upgrading until 2020. iPhone 13 let’s gooooo! Lol

The phone is great legitimately no need to buy no phone after the 6S honestly. What everyone uses on daily bases isn’t complex, and it has near same features with other new iPhones.

Surprisingly, iphone 6s was a little bit faster than s8. iPhone 6S with an old battedy would decrease the performance though.

I still have my iPhone 6s which is now 3.5 years old now. I also, still have the original battery that came with it when I got it brand new. This is a very solid phone, great in and out. I use it all the time everyday. Even with the original battery and new software updates, the battery health apps shows that my original 3.5 year old battery is at 80% which is amazing. I will keep this phone bc I love it that much. It does everything and more for what I want it to do, and I own my own company so think about that. When you keep upgrading every year or two years, it’s considered a HARD HIT on your credit and takes two years to get it off. It’s the same kind of hard hit as getting a house, or even a car. A HARD HIT IS A HARD HIT. You have a loan with your provider with each and every phone that you keep upgrading, and that’ll bring your credit down! I’d rather not bring my credit down over a cell phone, but that’s just me. This is the truth, bc I noticed it on my credit report with this phone when I first got it.
Another benefit to mine besides it still being awesome is that... It’s all paid for! Credit isn’t affected. Just my opinion and it’s a smart one.

Of course yes! You can buy an iPhone 6s in 2018! As Nick said battery life has been reduced in iOS 11 but it’s not that much of a problem! You can buy an iPhone 6s in 2018! I use a 6s that’s why trust me.

i love the performance of this thing, i repaired the battery which was like 15$
battery now seems better than my previous big phone which was a oneplus 2.
can easily last me a day if im outside all day but last me round 8 hrs at home.

The reality is that 95% of the users will never recognize any "bugs" with an Iphone 6s. Its a quality phone with a great camera.

I bought myself a Gold 4.7 Inch IPhone 6S in January 2018 and it is a good IPhone well worth brand new from Apple for £449 at that price in 2018.
Of course you should buy it. Cheaper than 7,7+,8,8+ and the performance is almost the same. And it has headphone jack!
And if you think you have a lot of better androids for the same price,think again. I was shocked when I discovered that an iphone 1,2mp camera can be better than a lot of 5 and 8mp android cameras,for example.

I say yes. Did trade my 6s Plus for a normal 6s with 128 GB and I love it. Gotta keep it until the last iOS update for it comes out. Also the battery on my 6s gives me more usage than the 6s Plus I had before lol.
Edit: Also consider the OnePlus 3T and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for 2018. Both are still great phones. The 3T already has Android 8, let's see if the S7 get's it.
Well it could be, the battery on my 6s Plus literally jumped to numbers. My 6s does not do that. When I watched videos, the battery didn't jump but in normal app usage it did.

This helps me a lot I've been needing a new phone for a while currently I have have a galaxy s5 active which is very slow, sometimes unresponsive, and broken. Every once in a while it takes multiple trys to get into the phone even though I enter the right password. Overall it's pretty bad and I've always loved iphones and I think I will make the switch.

SomeKindOfMetalHead for Android u need at least 3GB of ram to run smoothly, I have an note 3 which has no lag issue but s5 lag as fuck, currently I'm using note Fe aka 7 , I like to use Android as device and iPad mini as tablet, I would suggest u to go for iPhone 6s or Samsung s7

Just bought a refurbished 64gb 6s in space grey on amazon for $255 including tax and shipping. Felt like that was a pretty good deal. Currently use the galaxy s8 and frankly it's absolutely amazing, stunning display very fluid interface. The best phone I've ever used and it's not even close however I use a lot of apple products and really just desired better integration between software and devices. Also much easier connectivity with friends and family, iMessage, facetime, etc. Excited!

Got the 32GB variant of the iPhone 6S brand new at Best Buy for $299. Paired with a Tech21 Evo Tactical case, the high durability and weight of the phone, it really makes this phone feel very premium and well worth it IMHO. This goes double for the fact that I (personally) have an Android tablet (best of both worlds, right? lol) for whenever I want to use a big screen for something, so that helped me decide NOT to get the iPhone 6S Plus.
You really oughta consider a follow-up video to this in that regard, since while it feels like the 6s series is slating to phase out entirely in the near future once the next line of iPhones gets released, this is still the best deal on a mainstream iPhone (rather than the compromisingly small screen size of the iPhone SE, which I DO like also in spite of) that you're ever going to get if you're on a budget; plus it STILL has at least a couple more years of usability as a daily driver. Even with iOS 11, it performs quite smoothly and the battery CAN get you through the day with mild to moderate usage (haven't used it heavily yet, though it's pretty certain the battery won't make it under such usage); though I naturally had to plug it in immediately once I got home and settled in at the end of the day.
Bottom line, if you can still find one brand new...buy it! The headphone jack, in my opinion, is a must. Unless they can find some way to integrate the whole lightning to headphone jack to somehow not require a dongle, this is likely the last iPhone I will ever own. Maybe if the price of the iPhone 7 comes down to close to what the iPhone 6s is now, I MAY reconsider.

Martin Louis, the problem I have, is Apple is a master at suckering customers into ignoring a thing called planned obsolescence. They'll only support their ios and such for so many years until they all but stop working forcing users to either upgrade or switch platforms (like Windows, Android, etc.).
You care about the speed in which you can make that call. If your on a crappy old phone that freezes all the time and can't get to the phone app in an emergency, I'm pretty sure you're gonna care if you're getting murdered or something.

bought a 6s in DEC 2015, and bought an Asus Zenpfone 2 a few months before, Zenfone 2 is still working excellent living a rough life, Iphone 6s had a nice office - home eazy going lifestyle and has screen go bad 3 months ago with black vertical lines, paid around $700 for Iphone, and paid $299 for the Asus Zenfone 2.

I switched from a Galaxy S7 to an iPhone 6s last month and I love it. The only thing that bugged me is there is no back button. With my S7 I had tons of issues with my battery overheating. I haven’t had any battery issues yet with my iPhone.

I'm still using iphone 5s and it still works great for me. great on the pocket, simple, good camera, still no lag on the games. I only need a power bank and I am good to go. I will get the iphone 6s though since I dropped my phone in the swimming pool. it still works but the home button has issues from time to time

Typing this on a my IPhone 6s Plus daily driver. No major issues, still fast and reliable , battery is kinda iffy sometimes , design is feeling kinda old. Looking forward to the iPhone SE 2.

Gaming wise, for you mobile gamer out there. This thing is still a powerhouse (no lag on VainGlory and Lineage2 high setting). The only drawback is only its battery, due to Li-ion chemical aging issue of course. But you can always replace it.
Definitely worth it even for other things like photography, media or music.

I compared my mom’s 6s Plus to my iPhone 8 Plus and the speed difference is barely noticeable. I think the 6s has reached its peak optimization, and its impressive a 2 year old phone can keep up with a brand new $950 phone

I ordered iPhone 6s in the colour gold, which is supposed to arrive on the 4th or 5th of October 2018. I'm super excited. I got one in 32GB, which isn't much but it saves me money and also I don't need much space anyways, considering that I don't take that many photos too. My screen protecter should arrive before the phone does and I ordered a simple phone case to keep my phone safe whilst I fine a phone case I actually like, which should also come on the same day or earlier.

I’ve had the 6s since launch in 2015,I’ve had the phone for about 2 and a half years,And till today it serves its purpose really well and is probably a worthy investment so I personally recommend this phone in 64gb and higher

Get the 6S/6S Plus to postpone obsolescence. The S version is relatively newer tech than base 6 model. Also, avoid the 16Gb version and get the 32Gb version as the minimum capacity. You never know how much storage you need until you need it.
Please do a review of the 6S/6S Plus with iOS 12 to see how the newer iOS affects the 6S models especially the battery life. Many iPhone users online at various forums have stated that they still have iOS 10.x because of all the issues associated with iOS 11.x.

Instead of buying a iPhone 6S buy a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge brand new it looks a lot better has a ultra amazing screen has a lot better front facing camera and the back camera is great. The battery is a monster ;)
BTW i own a iPhone 8 Plus 256GB Space Gray and im not a fanboy of any phone or brand ;)

I just bought brand new at&t prepaid iPhone 6s (32GB) for only $99+$45 sim bundle= $144 on at&t website... Nice black friday deal. I already have the iPhone SE & 6 but this is a nice improvement because of faster processor, bump from 6 with 16GB-->32GB, improvement with camera.... I also like that it still has a 3.5mm jack port because the more expensive 7 doesn't have it so I think that is solid pro for the 6s vs the 7. For the price and being brand new, I think it is a good solid value now. This is also gonna be my #2 phone so I don't quite need all the bell and whistles like from my #1 daily driver phone.

I have the 6 and love it. I can just imagine the 6s. I used the 8plus and besides it being twice as fast and with a way better look and camera you cannot go wrong with damn near any iPhone.
