    It's kinda funny how the Elite feels much more quality, but the Thrustmaster literally *is* much better quality. From mechanical buttons to actually having precalibrated sticks from the factory out there's really no comparison here. Plus the amount of broken Elite series 2 controllers out there... yikes. I wanted to love those but man what a let down.

      Yea the biggest thing for me is that if sometime down the line I get stick drift, I can simply replace the individual module instead of trying to buy a whole new controller or bringing it to a repair shop for a costly repair.

    • @Yatagarasu
      @Yatagarasu Před 2 lety +5

      As someone who has owned a Thrustmaster for months, I can tell you that while the controller is undeniably good, the price tag is not worth it. It’s hardly durable, and problems arise within the first few months, especially when playing a game like Rocket League. Within the first 2 months, the right throttle started acting out, and every once in a while, it would input on its own and I would have to press it down to cancel it out. Eventually it would continue on its own and pressing the button down did nothing. I decided to get it replaced by Amazon, and the new controller continued to work well until the next few months when the right bumper started getting worn out and the button started jiggling a lot more. If you have the money to burn, then it’s a really good controller, but the low durability and longevity makes the hefty price tag not worth it.

      @@Yatagarasu unfortunately a lot of these pro controllers have durability issues. I’ve owned the elite series 1, series 2, razer wolverine tournament, razer wolverine ultimate etc. so far my favorite has been the ultimate but it has the same bumper issues that the elite series 2 has. I have yet to try the thrust master but It has my attention. I’m currently thinking about getting the razer V2 but it doesn’t have paddles on the back which sucks. The turtle beach recon controller looks good but also no paddles and no trigger stops. If razer made a Wolverine Ultimate V2 I’d definitely buy that in a heartbeat

    I think you actually forgot about one of the most important things: the precalibrated sticks of the Thrustmaster a way more precise! It is absolutely insane how you can feel the difference with these thumbsticks. Razer Wolverine Tournament is the most durable controller on the market. While the Ultimate has more features and is mostly recommended for FPS, it will not last as long as the Tournament edition.

    Regretting buying Xbox elite 2 controller. Microsoft is still using a thin plastic flexible piece of aluminium/plastic inside the controller mechanism to press the right bumper. They got sued and they deserve it. So basically you are holding Right bumper but its flickering if you are not hard pressing it. ( Even if you feel it's being clicked)
    Many complaints about the buttons getting sticky and when you have a button that you use much, it might stuck ( google A button stuck Microsoft series elite 2 controller ). I bought and test both so I can give you a simple answer:
    Buy Thrustmaster eSwap X Pro.
    Also for your information is true that:
    - eSwap X Pro is bigger than elite 2 however is only a little bit (mid hands can use it 100%);
    - with elite 2 wireless u will have better confort (nice rubbers all over the controller);
    - the elite 2 wireless don't come factory calibrated;
    - the buttons ABXY of ALL series 2 wireless are bad (if you press without full pressure the buttons don't register);
    - eSwap X Pro have amazing ABXY buttons and more precise joys.
    - If you have a series 2 wireless and don't agree with me, just go to your windows control panel, gamepads, and check the buttons there. if you do 100 light clicks on the buttons especially (A and Y) you will notice what I'm saying.
    Now take your choice..
    I bought a Series 2 Wireless and in the next day I was swapping for eSwap X Pro and I'm 100% happy.

    I have the first gen elite controller and I'm sorry but I hate it! The damn paddles on the back are always getting hit on accident almost every time you set the damn thing down. Xbox controllers in general are too damn small! They are made for kids hands not full grown male adult hands! Maybe I just have big hands but come on Xbox can't you make two sizes of controllers? They keep making the damn things smaller instead of bigger for those of us with big hands! Perfect size my ass! Maybe if you've got dainty little girl hands! Now the Xbox 360 controller that was a better size controller! Still not perfect but way better than these small ass POS controllers they have now days! Corded oh well. I use my POS Elite controller wired (it's faster and more responsive). Of course the elite controller has the drift issue as well (I'm in the class action lawsuit over that crap too) that's the beauty of the Thrustmaster! Drift issue get another stick instead of having to buy another complete way over priced POS controller! I haven't splurged and got the Thrustmaster yet but I really think that's the way to go! It's bigger! It's got the advanced swappable joysticks/buttons so no need to spend way to much money buying a replacement controller just for the drift issue! It's got buttons instead of the damn paddles that always seem to get in the way. I won't be wasting money on another Xbox Elite POS controller again that's for sure! I only bought it for my PC for racing games but then I broke down and got an Xbox One S to play PUBG with some buddies on console and man I hate shooting games where you have to use a slow POS controller! Keyboard and mouse is the way to play shooting games! All controllers suck for shooter games! They are all way to slow! (Yes I've upped my sensitivity as much as I could with it still being usable and it still sucks!) I think it's complete BS that you can't use a keyboard and mouse on any system! Xbox is Microsoft. Microsoft is computers. Let us use whatever we want to control our characters! Don't give me the BS that's cheating cause NO IT'S NOT! The same could be said for these damn controllers with the extra "cheating" programmable buttons on the back of the controllers! Auto aim or aim bot or no recoil that's cheating! Just using a better method of controlling your character is NOT cheating! Get over it console users! Mouse and keyboard is the way to go!

    • @zandozman
      @zandozman Před 3 lety +1

      It's much better to run just the two lower paddles on the elite 1 and not all 4, some pros use 3 paddles from time to time but I've never actually known of someone who used all 4 .. generally if you must run more than two you'd allocate the 3rd paddle towards something that doesn't require a split second decision making and muscle memory like medkits in PUBG. Forget about trying to get used to all 4 paddles on an elite 1 controller, using all 4 paddles on an elite 2 controller is feasible but the controller is quite noticeably thinner than the elite 1 controller which is quite painful for my hands as it's just too small to use for a full game session, I wound up returning the elite 2 after a few days as it just killed my hands having to increase tension in order to hold it correctly ... My elite 1 NEEDS to be replaced here in the next month or two and I'm fine enough with the size of it + 2 paddles only but something feels wrong about considering buying the elite 1 6 years after release for the same price as an elite 2.... and to be perfectly honest every non microsoft "xbox" controller I've seen looks like it would feel about as cheap as an old 20$ mad catz controller.

    • @cujoman187
      @cujoman187 Před 3 lety

      @Goodliferacing yeah they keep making the damn things smaller and don't even care about people who have bigger hands. Why wouldn't a company make two sizes for people? That's so dumb and I feel they are missing the ball big time on that one! Yet another reason I want the Eswap Pro. That and the fact when it gets the drift issue like all controllers eventually do you can just replace the stick giving you the issue instead of having to replace the entire thing. There's really no reason to buy any other controller unless you have dainty little girl hands lol
