Nothing more. I've seen this discussion dozens of times on Reddit and Twitter and every time I point out that it's nothing more than a rumor, I get people arguing with me. That is until I ask for proof and of course nobody can provide it. This rumor most likely stemmed from the fact that Rocket League has a car called Samus's Gunship that's exclusive to the Switch. Hot take: I understand and respect Nintendo for their decision, it’s complicated and ling, but due to the world of laws and Nintendo’s run-in with Universal trying to sue them into oblivion in 1984, Nintendo is forced to be careful and play defensive with their properties, hence why they has so few collabs, strike down fan games/unaffiliated projects (for example unofficial smash bros tournaments) and are stingy with their character’s rights. Nintendo is willing to share as long as everything alines for them, Nintendo almost lost the rights to Donkey Kong in 1984, Nintendo doesn’t want anyone to find a loophole and take their characters away. If you almost lost you’re characters to someone else completely unrelated, you would become defensive too, so for once lets cut Nintendo some slack and understand what it as a company has been through. TL;DR Nintendo has been through a lot, including trauma, so give Nintendo some respect

I didn't know this was a comedy video.
Nintendo lightening up is a great joke.😂
THANK YOU FOR SAYING IT, I hate people saying "ye Nintendo are greedy f*ckers" for no reason, you proved them WRONG, THANK YOU!!!
Only true person
God Nintendo seriously needs to get with the times or they're just going to be left behind
Actually it was pretty set in stone too. In the batman zero point comic that came out at the same time you could see in a shot several silhouettes, one of ryu, chun li, and the third one looking like samus.
Would be cool seeing her alongside Master Chief and Doomguy so we have the trifects of badass and threatening cool spacesuit characters
Why is Nintendo so greedy?
Because they are a COMPANY
@@TheDarkSack Thats a pretty weak argument but okay
they have gotten real big through greed, and the fact that their customers just eat up anything does not help
@@mikey.morano635 How tf else you want me to explain it to you? They keep their profits in mind like most other companies
@@DIEGOLOKO82 Exactly
Samus would be the most badass collab also with a possible alternative preset which would be the blue suit
You can see Samus in one of the fortnite comics
I hope Nintendo never lightens up
So, this is basically like mario and luigi skin in Rocket league, except it wasn't approved.
Nintendo Moment 💀💀💀
Anyone else remember finding out Kirby was in the game 😂
It was back when they did big concerts in the party Royale mode
He was on the lower screens but you could only see him on the switch version
Shit would have brought so many fans to metroid
If you really want Samus in the game, use the Dynamo Dancer skin.
You can customize her pretty well to look like Samus in her Zero Suit, which is what I've been doing and it works like a charm.
For Samus I just used Mitzuki Magmatic without the cover up. That’s the closest skin I own to Samus
@@mythicalvoid
Honestly not a bad choice. Only issue I have with my Dynamo Dancer custom is the face is a bit too soft for Samus, Mitzuki fits that bill better I'd say.
I don't think Nintendo in the entirety said that. Just Doug bowser. He has a copyright fetish
Nintendo has to protect their stuff somehow
Nintendo has been going a little easier with their IPs recently
Imagine getting headshotted by a Pikachu💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Well... Solid Snake is coming in 3 days so Nintendo did lighten up.
Solid snake isn’t a Nintendo character
Snake is from Konami, not Nintendo
Nah
At least we have snake
I became depressed when Fred Warner didn’t say DUB CITY
Samus and Mandolorian are both intergalactic bounty hunter, kill aliens, on different planets, wear a suit and have special guns? Matpat, can you come here please?
Nintendo wouldn’t let that slide but palworld still active💀
Well Nintendo actually owns the rights to samus while they own nothing used by palworld, if they could've gone after them they would've 😂 if they did go after them that'd open the gates for the dragon quest makers to sue Nintendo since Pokemon is extremely heavily based on dragon quest and more so than palworld is with Pokemon 😂
*HA* Nintendo lightening up? What a funny concept
Bro In 2050 you will just be able to see Freddy fazbear 360 frinckin mario while Elon musk is gonna reboot pikachu and Steve from minecraft 😅😂
I can’t believe you didn’t mention that Samus was an outline in the cinematic
To think Link was once in Soul Caliber. Nintendo isn't what it used to be
"Alright, I'll get the guy with the Samus skin and you get the Goku."
"Theres a Samus skin?"
I don't even care about Samus, but long ago there was a boy born woth the spirit of a hero and a gun
Idk, people view Nintendo’s grip on their IPs as “overkill” but I think it’s almost a necessary evil in order to maintain “quality control” per se
Man, I'm so sad Samus isn't in fortnite
Guys Nintendo IS in Fortnite. Street fighter is from Nintendo, and there was a very popular street fighter collab introducing Ryu and Chun-Li.
I thought she was gonna be invisible unless you played as her for a second 😭
I normally don’t like Fortnite, but that would have been cool for Samus to shine.
But if Epic Games tried to get Mario, Legend of Zelda, or a Pokémon character their chances would’ve been absolutely non-existent
Imagine seeing a buff Mario skin in your lobby😂
Nintendo is not going to change their mind. They're always like this, and got too much money to be concerned about it anyway.
POV you see Seamus cranking 90s
samus in fortnite would have given me st least a reason to play 1 round of fortnite
Nintendo better agree to a fortnight x Zelda collab
“Yo dude I got the new Samus skin!”
“Doesn’t look like it”
“Nah trust me”
Dang... the first request is one thing... but only visible on switch?! What the fricc?
Fun fact:In the Batman x Fortnite zero point comic book on 1 page you can see a character in the background who is Samus
Never, Nintendo should never lighten up in this case, I agree with the keeping Nintendo pure and only Nintendo argument, they've gone so far on their own and wanting pride and purity in something you've worked so hard on isn't necessary a bad thing.
"Yeah sure we can make a fun crossover... but you had better not make it fun!"
Nintendo sold the bag with the non visible feature
Problem with Kratos and Master Cheif, they were still avaliable on other platforms console exclusive styles aside, Nintendo is just straight up petty
Honestly the best squad to pull up in Fortnite would be Master Chief, Doom Slayer, Samus Aran, and Gordon Freeman 😂
Imagine if we would still get Samus, and she would be a hireable NPC,or a boss, who when you defeat, drops a mythic, like her blaster, rocket launcher, bomb,or freeze ray
she would honestly fit really well
