If this game can become a new planet coaster with more coaster types (especially family ones) and flatrides we have a winner!
Global illumination... finally, real dark rides
Yes! And there's going to be a lot of different models and tons upon tons of scenery pieces to make THE Dark Ride
(also I love your content!)
I Just bought the game, and I can't wait to build a complete park, with some serious dark Rides! I feel likes a new era Is starting
Will there be a sequencer for lights and other vfx?
@@christopherbaker4420 There will be sometime during the Beta in a large show update, including the sequence editor, tons of effects and parades
Awesome can't wait to have a long play session
I just randomly got this in my recommended and I'm not too much of a roller coaster tycoon kind of guy, but I can't leave without telling you to keep your head up and keep at it. This is a genre loads of people are interested in and it seems you have the knowhow and talent to make something innovative but familiar.
If I could give a bit of observational advice I would consider simplifying some of the language used in the UI or further refining the build system to be truly accessible to everyone - Imagine having no background in modeling, engineering, etc. and coming home from a long day of work; booting up this new roller coaster builder and seeing coordinate planes, color hex codes, tangents, so on and so forth. Might end up giving them a headache. Maybe plan on having a more "basic" set of editing options and then an "advanced" set of editing options which shows more of that specific info.
I see the passion and the brains behind all of this, make sure to let yourself see it too. I'd love to see you grow and have your game on the front page, best of luck, good work
The game is not designed to be accessible to "new" players, it was originally designed as a game for theme park enthusiasts by a theme park enthusiast, some things will be changed but the core of it won't
This is absolutely incredible for something that's in alpha!!! You should be so proud I have wanted a tool like this ever since I was little. ❤
I’m so excited to see what this will become! I remember a theme park studio game that kind of died but I’m sure this will catch peoples attention once word gets around about this game. Take your time and great work!!!
Ughh don't get me started on that terrible waste of hard drive space.
The premise behind theme park studio was essentially you were given scenery pieces that resembled actual rides such as the wave swinger for example but these were only static in nature and couldn't actually work.
When they added actual coasters to the game the editor was even worse than in the failed RCT world game that debuted in 2016...I couldn't even get a simple wooden coaster to work because it couldn't move after it reached any brake sections.
Hopefully this title however won't suffer the same fate and will become a quality theme park simulator in due time. Unfortunately I can't even install the game right now myself due to a lack of disk space so I'm probably gonna have to uninstall a few software programs that are currently on my system.
@@michaezell4607 it looks promising so far and theme park studio and roller coaster tycoon world are very much outliers compared to this🤣
Yes I fell for Pantera's "Theme Park Studio" a kid 😂 Funny how time flies!
Truly beautifully stunning and the game of my dreams. So hyped to see this develop
I recently purchased this myself but unfortunately cannot install it at the moment due to lack of disk space so it looks like a couple of games in my steam library have to be Uninstalled first.
@@michaezell4607how many gigabytes is it?
I’m so excited for this! Thank you for developing it!
Looks incredibly promising already. Keep up the good work, really interested to see what this game will become!
This has great potential. Will be following this developement!
We will watch your career with great interest!
damn YT just reccomended me this video! thanks for putting this on my radar!
Love how this is going!
this will quickly become the best coaster game. keep at it, i can't wait to see what it becomes
I just downloaded today! I am beyond excited!!
This looks really impressive! I will give it a shot as soon I will have some time. Can't wait to try to rebuild my favourite Europapark attractions with this!
Purchased the alpha and will get into it shortly, but wanted to say - this is already extremely promising. The lighting, overall graphics, huge selection of objects, high quality and accurate train builds - it's all so impressive so far. For those of us wanting a modern and realistic park building game, it's really great to see this in development.
I know comparisons to other games isn't really useful, as this truly it's own development, but I love that this already has the flexibility in scenery and objects that Planet Coaster has, but with graphics and coaster models closer to the high standard of NL2. The design of the object placement tools for either snapping/free moving and copying/size changing is a enticing improvement as well.
Thanks so much for the insane amount of work that's already gone into this, and I definitely want to support this as much as I can. Looking forward to seeing what comes for Park Studio!
This looks great - I'd like to request... please allow circular/rotating stations for River Rapids rides!
Also for the paint options it would be good to have a colour select where you click on a colour you can see in your park and it will find the hex value.
i'm waiting you on special track elements like transfert track / drop track / tilt track / and dynamics track system (like the one on Winja's Fear and Forces). and waiting a lot of coaster style and tracks styles.
Yes me to
Be cool to have functional carnival games built into park ❤
My laptop can’t handle this lol. But, it looks really good. Gonna follow the development! Keep up the good work.
Watching with great interest. Likely grab the alpha after work today. Do it right, you'll blow Frontier off the map.
If flat rides are eventually added please add a zamperla roto shake.
It's a ride that zamperla developed in the early to mid 90s, SFA had one that was first added to the park in 1994 but removed in 2005 due to reliability issues.
Good luck with this, I'll be getting a copy once you start charging a little more for it!
WOW!!! this is amazing
Oooooooo I just bought this. I know its still the Alpha version, but I am happy to play this as this develops.
This game looks gorgeous
Awesome work man. I'm excited. Please have switch tracks, games that guests play, and water park.
Many features are planned, switch tracks and other kinds of elements are the main features of the next version
@@azaelue5 when can we expect beta?
@@covertzebra Early 2025
Great !
This game looks like a lot of potential, please add multiplayer at some point. I would love to play with my friends on the same park, i miss that in planet coaster. Much love ^^
Multiplayer has been considered but is not currently planned and not a priority
This is awesome. I'm definitely going to buy it this week just hope we get flat rides in the future love to do a indoor flat ride like tomb raider the ride.
Flat Rides should come in version 0.4 😉
I'm looking forward to the coaster builder, it reminds me of Nolimits 1.
Any plans for a sound system for onride and park music? Love to see and hear how that will turn out in-game. And a stage lightning here! Most moving lights can't tilt 360 degrees, just about 240.
this game should be great when out! much potential!
sugresstions for features that you may find interesting besides adding more objects like ropes, lanterns, etc etc
- sequencer that you can trigger from a point in a ride (the green blocks you find at tracks all the time in real life) for adding light effects or maybe even building your own animatronics
- audio sources you can trigger from sequencers or rides
- brushes for terrain detailing
- Adding gobos in light sources
- a system to make tunnels more easy to build
- 3d spatial audio
- brushes to add grass, and other foliage
- decals to use on objects
- (working) screens is a big thing themeparks these days are full off
These are just some hints your agenda is most likely already full of things like these
also you have to take care of visitors in the future i guess it would be fun to build your own restaurants and restrooms and take care of your staff really looking forward when this game is complete
All those features are planned, you should join the Discord
OKAY, This is hyping me WHAY TOO MUCH 🤣🤯
- U5 lumen lighting
- High res textures
- Insanly realistic props
- Extremely detailed and acurate roller coasters rails and trains models from the greatest roller-coasters munufacturers
and more...
What do we need more ? 🤩🤣
That is just fabulous! I may spend the rest of my life on this game !
I hope with all my heart that it will be updated from time to time and that the community will be able to suggest things to add/modify.
Keep going ! This may be the beginning of something VERY big :) (Don't worry, it will be 😉)
airtime tu peux ecrire en fr tu sais
I can’t wait to do Water/Laser shows just like RCT3, will the water reflect the light when lit with some projector???
1:28:20 - That string's actually localized "correctly" for a lot of english speaking countries for a number. We don't use commas in years, but we separate thousands by comma. Like "one million" is "1,000,000".
So for us that reads "two thousand twenty-four", which is kinda correct. I know a lot of places use comma to separate whole numbers from the decimal place. We use the dot (period) for that.
So "one point five" for us is "1.5", not "1,5". 👍
16:52 - Oh man. I wish every game or app that had a UI to drag/rotate things around also came with a parallel UI for inputs like this. The UX is just so much better. I've been daydreaming about modding PlanCo to see if I can add position inputs like what you have here so you can just type in the exact positioning values instead of having to get as close as possible by dragging the gizmo arrows.
As long as this game stays relatively performant with rides and guests in the park, this is looking suuuuuuper promising so far. Nice work.
Will there be the possibility to have maintenance tracks and/or multiple track interesections?
I'm really excited to see the progress of this. I'd love to eventually see seasonal decoration options. Realistic roller coaster and theme park operations. This probably wouldn't be for a long time, but I'm wondering if there's a way to calculate how much power certain launches can take and possibly make us have to provide enough power room/computer room to actually allow it to operate. If that level is even possible, that would have to be a hard/very hard option to select when creating a map as that would not be something for everyone.
There will be a lot of features centered on realism and micro-management will come with the career mode, you can join the Discord to see what's next
Once the game is actually complete I might get this
There must be a huge amount of work in this development. It looks really promising and fun to play around in.
My suggestion would be to add a particle editor like in RCT3 , since a huge amount of people miss it in Planet coaster.
I am definitely going to try it out very soon.
Good luck with further development.
There will be different VFX in the game but nothing that doesn't exist IRL
@@azaelue5 I was more looking along the lines of fireworks and the creation of them.
Your game looks really great! keep it up
@@E2_2020 Ah I see, there won't be fully custom fireworks but I'll add as much as I can
@@azaelue5 Ah ok, nonetheless buying a copy!
can’t wait to get this and have it fully completed, also will there be a switch track eventually?
Coming in 0.2 soon
@@azaelue5 wow you’ve really got the whole package
Just bought the game, downloading is gonna take me an hour haha
👀👀👀
the game isnt opening for me it keeps saying couldnt start as an error message do you know how to fix it
Will there be catwalks in the game for the coasters and interactive station bits like previous games?
There will be catwalks at some point but no station generation
I hope there will be a way to place clearance envelopes on the cars to for testing too.
Coming in 0.2
Hey I love your game, its exactly what I needed. Are you planning a workshop? Because that's why "Planco" is still playable, because of the fantastic theme park community.
And I would like to see if it is possible (in the future) to maintain the coaster myself (no pressure, just dreaming :) ).
Thank you for the video!
There will be a workshop coming soon in Alpha 0.2 to share Prefabs and parks
@@azaelue5 im hyped :) thank you
very specific question: is it possible to import the spine of the track as an element to Nolimmits 2? No stress if not I know it's specific :)
There will hopefully be a NL2 importer to import coasters made in NL2
I'm really excited about the potential of this game. The weather system has me extremely hyped!
Could you do different seasons and/or weather systems in one park using like a time machine or sequencer like they have in say, PlanCo by chance?
Thanks for the video, I'm sure this will prove very helpful! ☮& ♥~ SmilingOma333 🙂
Seasons are already there although they don't change the color of trees yet... There will be a calendar in a future version to choose the month and therefore season
Hey, will there ever be the possibility to import layouts from NL2 into this game, or are there compatibility issues involved?
I'm going to do my best to add an importer, it should come with the next major update if I manage to program it before that update is considered ready
Alright, thanks. Also are there any plans to add a heartline setting where you can add a default heartline/roll offset to a coaster similar to FVD++/Planet Coaster?
@@CWLifts It's not planned but it should be easy to implement, I'll experiment and see
are you planning to add more coasters and rides in the future, if so, what rides are coming next?
There will be a lot more coming! 0.2 will introduce two new coasters including the Mack Stryker Coaster, flat rides will come in 0.4
i would love it if when you implement guests into the game there are large amounts of them so rollercoasters aren't unrealistically quiet like in all over theme park games.
A super large amount will not be possible but I'll make sure to optimize for as much as possible
@@azaelue5 i know there are always limitations. thank you for the feedback
Would be really nice if you add a feature where you can procedurally generate a terrain.
Hello, is it ok that I made a little demo on your game? (Big fan of this game by the way)
It's awesome thanks!
Currently in school so I can’t play it, I also had a power outage this morning so I couldn’t turn on my computer, I’ll see how it runs
oh well this is not going to run on my pc, but this game still looks absolutely _amazing_ and i'll definitely continue to follow the progress and maybe i'll be able to afford a better pc until the full version comes out!
The game should run on computers from the last 5 years or older😉
@@azaelue5 unfortunately my pc is from 2015 xD
playing with the track layout its a bit strange for me, when I'm going to create a drop, the track starts twisting, any guesses?
There's currently a bug that is getting fixed in the next update coming in a few days, join the Discord to see the current bug reports and known issues
How do you get into pov mode?
If kept updated (unliked PlanCo) this is going to be the best coaster game ever.
How many different themes will this game have on release? And I'm assuming there will be many DLC's
There will be plenty of themes, starting with Steampunk/Industrial, Western, Mythology/Adventure as well as something more generic... There will be plenty of DLCs but I'm planning on having a good balance between Free Themes and paid DLCs, also, the DLCs will be under 5$, if there are any
@@azaelue5 Awesome! I've played around a little bit with it already! The potential is huge with this
@@azaelue5 Pirate, Fantasy, Sci-fi, maybe some countries from Europe and Asia, vintage, Spooky, Christmas, Candy. Stuff like this would be incredible for this.
Keep up the great work so far!
Is there going to be a Vekoma Flying Dutchman in a future version?
Probably in the future when we start adding older rides, first there's the modern vekoma flying coaster that needs to be implemented
will this eventually be on xbox? amazing work keep it up!
Console is not planned, but in the future maybe
@@azaelue5 sounds good!
The detail is stunning.
If game play is as superb, this game will knock Planet Coaster out of the park.
I'm concerned about pc specs 🤣
Also coaster pieces and pre- built coasters and buildings for the casual player would be great.
The game should run on any computer from the last 5-10 years at various quality, obviously all the shiny features will have to be disabled...
Coaster pieces are coming in 0.2 such as supports, seats and other things, as for pre-built coaster that will also come in 0.2 and pre-built buildings probably in 0.3
Developer Idea: With the location of objects and the coasters, there should be a button to have local positioning, instead of always locked to the world axis, basically if you place a coaster you have an option to make local positioning which would set it to 0,0,0 XYZ and you could add objects a certain distance away from that axis, which can make it easier to use for certain projects and adds more usability.
There's already local and world controls, but having local coordinates that would affect other pieces would be way too complicated
Im wondering will this be a game or a simulation like will there be people too ride the rides we make and states also it could be a could idea if we can custom paint the trains make cool designs like shapes and stuff Just a idea tho 🙂🙂 it would help with making and being creative too your own theme by making your own logo for the rides
It's going to be a simulation, guests are one of the main features coming this year in the Alpha, as for train designs, there will be different themed trains for every "Theme" that the game will have
@@azaelue5 also one last thing are you going for more cartoon style guest or more realistic? also keep up the work this game has huge Potential 👍👍👍😀😀
@@domos7397 More realistic but not the most realistic
@@azaelue5Wait, so you are saying, we have actual themed coaster trains?? Like for the Steampunk theme we have Steampunk trains???
Hey just a suggestion you should add ride op panels so we can close gates close restraints dispatch move train to next block section that would be amazing too see
Coming in the Beta Q4 this year or Q1 next year
And the possibility to create custom ride panel (for show control stuff for example)
That should be nice
My hopes for this are quite high, make it available especially moddable and we might experience the Kerbal Space Program for themepark/rollercoaster builders
Mods aren't allowed and won't be allowed until EOL
28:21 This is IMO where you could improve on Planet Coaster. I know that it is very uncommon to have both a Chanlift and a Launch on the same coaster, but I always felt that it is a weird restriction in a game to lock people down to one operating mode. Think of it as how RCT 1 & 2 did it back in the day, you select the coaster model, in this example "Megacoaster - Mug Rides" and you then get acces to all operating modes, special track pieces and train options available for the model.
I get that the bottom of the LSM train would probably collide with the chainlift, but I feel like that´s something people like me that want to build a coaster with both a Lift and Launch are going to be able to live with.
Unfortunately only models that support this kind of behavior IRL will have the option to select chains and lifts, the goal is to be as close to the source material, sorry
@@azaelue5 I completely understand why they are split and I can live with it, I mean it is possible to use a slower launch as a Lift like Maverick does it.
@@azaelue5 Its better to give people the option even if IRL the model doesn't have both. If someone wants to build as realistically as possible they can simply not put both a lift and launch on their coaster. But sometimes its fun to have a tool to build things that haven't yet been created IRL. I think they entire appeal of this game is to provide tools for people to build whatever they want, and putting a limit on what each coaster can do goes against that.
@@spaceistheplace2293 The goal of the game is to be as realistic as possible, including the real life limits
Wish you could see g forces while your building
Coming in 0.2, not while building but there will be g forces displayed
Please please please work out a way to make this work with FVD++. I would actually die this would clear any other theme park game FOREVER
I'm planning on adding a NL2 importer in 0.2
Will there be guests?
Yes
I brought the game but but can’t play it as it’s says my drivers are wrong and not enough virtual memory very disappointing

@@azaelue5yeah but i can play it sort off smoothly, it broke 2 times down but still, it works

It should be easier than NL2 but harder than Planet Coaster
