I noticed on one of your videos that it looks like you have Panoptics/Livescope set up on a bracket off the starboard front of your boat. Can you confirm and please tell me how that works. I have an Echomap 95sv and am going to purchase the ice fishing bundle but want to be sure I can convert it to my boat. Thank you.
This is the Arc Labs shuttle with there boat mount and pole. I have it on a Larmac 360 so graph can rotate. It's an amazing setup!

Why you use ultra lights for 13lb walleyes? Sounds like a fun way to fight the fish.
These are not ultra lights. These are medium, medium light, and medium heavy. The just buckle the rods when we give them the gear.
So be honest, was this a normal day out, or did all the stars just line up? I've hit honey holes before, but that many species that big all in one spot? I have to imagine that was at least an above average outing! Great video btw incredible stuff!

This was actually a slow day. We had a cold front move in. We had limited numbers and size. Another couple weeks and it should be much better.

Awesome video Kevin! As someone who fishes Georgian Bay a lot, wondering if you can provide me on any suggestions of minimum boat size to safely and comfortably be out there in? Hoping to purchase a boat and get out there next season!
19 ,20 ft minimum
This guys using a boat designed to handle the west coast. Pick you days and know how to operate the boat and you’ll be fine in a 12’ Jon boat. Unless you’re a serious angler 16-18’ with a deep hull with do more then you’ll use the boat for.
Safety is mainly a captain and not the boat. I would rather be with an experienced captain in a 16ft aluminum then a newbie in a 24 foot enclosed. For the average guy though a 17-18ft and pick your days is good.

I like 8-32 fow for big females. 30-50 for smaller males. We don't target the males much due to lower survival from that depth.
