First off, I'm not a drag racer or even that much of a MOPAR fan. Honestly, as I get older, working on cars is mostly just a pain in the ass. That said, I watch your videos because I can relate to you, plus the fact that you're a walking encyclopedia, mad-scientist, and historian packaged deceptively as a regular Joe. Don't change a damn thing.....we love our Uncle Tony just as he is.

people aren't used to going with a channel on a journey; so many channels are overproduced and edited down to be flashy and get the 'hero' end result of gains/times/etc.
I prefer the journey and the knowledge that comes along with it when watching channels.
Honesty, integrity, dignity. That mostly describes this channel, can add humor in there as well ;)

A while back there was a younger youtuber who did an episode showing the reassembly of a (very expensive) heavy equipment engine. An eagle-eyed viewer spotted an error and fortunately had that helper gene; he notified the CZcams channel. To the great credit of the CZcams Channel, he did another episode describing his mistake and how a viewer spotted it and saved the engine from likely catastrophic failure.

THE most watched videos by me on CZcams tend to be: engineering, automotive, scientific, story lore from books and games. I have learned more from you and Gale Banks in the last few years than I learned in the previous 10 to be completely honest. If it was not for you, a friend of mine would still have a none running 318 in his Ramcharger. It went from struggling to run because it had massive vacuum leaks, horrible carb tune and retarded ignition timing, to pump the gas 3 times when super cold, touch the key and it started right up. I used what I have learned from you in tuning naturally aspirated Honda engines, and used what I have learned from Gale Banks on boosted gasoline and diesel engines to help some friends with their builds. The sag caught my eye, too, in the last video. Just seemed like there had to be something else going on because it didn't look like something a normal person would go down the road with.
Although I'm still not a fan of pulling trailers with light vehicles. I've done it and definitely prefer at least a 3/4 ton truck.

I seen Slaghammer at the No Names & I saved a video to this day of it. Not the best day it's had, but I still like the car. Is it 100% to my tastes? No, but I seen pretty much the whole build from when it was supposed to be a Gambler 500 deal & stay a 4 Door to now. I feel connected.

I'm 62 and never was around cool old cars, nor had the opportunity to work on any car until I was in my late teens to early 20's and had my own car. I got the tools I needed as the needs arose, and they were pretty cheap tools because I got what I could afford. My 1st big repair was a water pump and exhaust system on a '76 Monte Carlo. The exhaust system was pretty straightforward and included a straight pipe in place of the catalytic converter. The water pump was between the belt driven fan and front of the engine. No CZcams to watch the job first. Just started taking things apart down to the water pump and reverse process with the new pump. That car, and most since then that I've had, only needed minor repairs. By the time I was in my mid fifties, I had done a lot of repairs on a lot of different vehicles. If I would have had a mentor like UTG, my career path would have gone much differently, weather for better or worse.

Tony, enjoy your channel since the beginning, I appreciate your logical approach to hobby of older cars. Been a car nut since early 60's fixing neighbors cars since I was 12. Sold all my cars including my beloved 70 Z28, because I couldn't drive it or work on it. Glad to see you doing what I no longer can. I get my "old car" fix watching you. Keep doing what makes you happy. BTW, want to see you put together that 392 Hemi, I had one in the 70's

I was one of the first ones saying that. And I fully understood your reply.
It was just the angles that the camera was showing just made it look different to all of us.
It happens, not a big deal. Bigger fish to fry....however I would just make sure you get the cars on the flat bed as far forward as possible. Especially with that short wheels base tow vehicle. Weight distribution is way more important than a sag. (But you already know that)
    Weight distribution > sagging

I don't watch you to learn how to do things. I don't watch SRC, OMG, 1320, Cleetus, or any other channel to learn how to do things. I watch you guys to see what you're doing this week. Just watched Finnegan test drive F250s for half an hour while I ate lunch. I want my half hour back, but I was curious about how well a $120k Ford pulls a 10,000lb trailer... because my $2500 GMC pulls about 5000 to 6500lbs of car and trailer.
Its the entertainment of it, you're something to watch or listen to while I do something else.
Now I have to roll into Lowes, have them put 2000lbs of wood pellets in the back of my 2000 1500 Silverado and squat it to the snubbers so I can keep the house warm for the next two months until it warms up enough. All my 2500s are broke at the moment, rust happens.

I spent 25 years as a mechanic in the industry + the random stuff after leaving the industry. You will never see critique from me about how something is not as it should be. Having also spent over a decade doing astrophotography, I recognize that a wide angle camera lens skews the field. (that's why they make "field flatteners" for telescopes, to eliminate the curvature the lens introduces).
