Would love to know if the clutch arm was installed correctly, not a chance I would be able to move my clutch lever like that by hand when it's installed. The clutch springs inside are HEAVY
Did you bend up any of the tabs on the washer that goes under the clutch basket nut? I recently tore mine apart on my 03 660r and one side of was bent up. It looked like it was done to prevent the nut from doing anything crazy. Almost to act like a lock washer of sorts.
Great video with details. I just bought a 01 660r Yamaha when I'm riding it on high rmp it keeps over flowing coolent in to my reservoir any ideas thanks
Hi I have a problem with my 02 raptor660r. The oil in reservoir go true to the Carter so I put a 3 litter and the reservoir still empty the oil just go directly to Carter can you help please 🙏 thanks
I just rebuild my 2005 raptor 660 and waiting on a new carb, but question if I press down the clutch, will this allow my quad to move when it's in gears? My quad only moves in neutral, NOT when is in gears even by pressing the clutch and friends are telling me that the clutch should allow my quad to move and that something is wrong with my clutch.
yes it should absolutely roll when you pull in your clutch.. That is what the clutch is for is to disengage the transmission from the motor for easy smoother shifting..
Thank you very much! I know this is an older video, but very helpful with the clutch assemby and torque spec on the basket nut.
I bought 01 raptor with the know second gear locked up and you helped me so much with that whole rebuild. Appreciate it.
Glad to hear it! Hope all is well!
Great job! An good details.
Appreciate the feedback!

Yeah normally they are bent in at least 2 places to prevent the nut from coming off the shaft if it gets loose
Awesome and good details.
Ivan Rodriguez Thanks for watching! We appreciate the support!
Can you please show more clearly what gears the clutch housing is supposed to mesh with
Very helpful!! Thankyou

Unfortunately it’s hard to help with something like that without seeing it in person. Sorry

I haven't been able to run it yet because I don't have the carb

Does anyone no if I can put a 700 clutch on a 660 raptor
Will a 02 transmission fit into a 01 bottom end for raptor
It should, they only changed one gear design. But the tooth count is the same
