#LynyrdSkynyrd #SaturdayNightSpecial #LiveAtKnebworth76 - Hudba
The real Skynyrd.
One of the greatest rock and Roll bands ever
I was there! They were the best band at Knebworth that year! Head and shoulders above the rest. The Stones, were great, but these guys left me with an everlasting impression.
Amazing show they put on lucky you!
So Lucky!
I wish I had been able to see them back then. Unfortunately, I was born ten years too late
@Paul Gretny I tried.... the scanning was pretty quick
@JOHN lll Yep, I have used the same wording many a time
How can you dislike this ?? Come on !
Rip all the boys
It's so fucking tragic how many Skynyrd members are gone
Keep pushing Gary !
Gary is only original one left..he turned 70..Rickey Medlocke was with them briefly in 1971-1972
@@chucky2569 yes i know about Gary , i dont know if you watch the documentary about the Skynyrd on Netflix , really good and Gary talk about the good old days
@@ianlawlski1102 Gary's solos are perfect for the feel of this song. Those big bluesy bends on that LP neck pickup are killer sounding with this track.
It is sad that almost everyone in the classic lineup of Lynyrd Skynyrd has died. Especially Gary Rossington, he was a great guitarist.
We all have to die. No one's immortal but their music lives on. Unfortunately 3 of them died way too soon. But we have CZcams to go to when we miss them.
@@lisashelley3051 More than just the 3 from the plane crash went too soon. Allen, Bob, Billy and Leon also died young and tragically.
Their guitarists were all great. I truly believe Steve Gaines was destined to be the best. Songwriter, vocalist, lead guitarist, great slide player…. Would have been a stone cold legend.
Yes!!!
Definitely the best Band on Earth.
ICONS FOREVER.
THANK YOU ❤❤❤PHILADELPHIA USA 🇺🇸
NOSTROVIA 🎉🎉
There is no amount of money you can put on these guys, the absolute greatest in all the universe, then, now, and forever and ever!!!
how tight were these southern boys, today's bands can only dream about being this good.
Greatest pure rock n roll band to ever take the stage.
I really loved the real skynyrd band.. Allen is out of control... love it
Gary was on lead guitar
Allen was so badass! One of the best in my opinions. Didn't have enough time to really shine! But left some great music🤘
. . . his own worst enemy, sadly.
May G-d rest Allen's soul.
without a don’t one best ever and i’ve seen ton of them.steve is on that list too of course bias my fav band of all time. these guys that is. dig ricky and all but doesn’t compare
Each one of them are masters of their craft and never again shall we hear such sweet sounds.
When you have Jesus on drums and three legendary guitarists, the Stones really had no chance.
😂❤
This song is an Ed King contribution to Lynyrd Skynyrd! Ed wrote some great ones! Sweet Home, Working for MCA, Whiskey Rock-n-Roller, etc.
With that sound, Ed had to have put a major force into it !! Ed was the cool California Hippie. :)
Masterful. True southern rock.
Allen's rhythm makes this song and one of the best intro's in rock history.
Whiskey & handguns aint good for nothin!
IN THE BOTTOM OF THE DEEP BLUE SEA!
THANK YOU! 💘👏✊✌
People who don’t know old fashioned rock and roll should watch this concert
one of the best live rock performances ever
This is HOW You BLOW The Stones OFF THE STAGE!!!!!!!!!!!
This song sounds like its headed to a fight. Great attitude riff and vocals. Oft' intimated, never replicated.
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT
one of the best songs ever
The greatest live performance ever. No debate!
Literally endless debate.
it was great meatin ronnies brother and medlock up in heartford CT
Listen to the bark of that heavy rhythm!! The mad-hatter's Bass holding the bottom down! 🤘
1:51 🖐
No debate ?? Says who ?
Gary is the Man !! He owned this !
Ed King wrote it.
Goosebumps...these boys on 🔥
Crazy how close they sound like the album version. Those guys probably always sounded great. Didn’t matter if it was a festival or a small dance hall that held 50 people.
All musical geniuses and Ronnie...what a songwriter and story teller....wish I could have met all these guys. But as life has it, it just takes some people too damn early.
This is one of my all time favorite rock songs.
Good choice ! They have plenty more. Hand gun are made for killin , that ain’t no good for nothing else.
For $20 you can buy yourself one toooo ! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦 !
ORIGINAL CLASSIC ROCK !!!!! FOREVER
Only #1 WAY 2 LISTEN 2 THIS , AS LOUD AS YOUR SPEAKERS CAN HANDLE, AMAZING TRACK!!!!!!
Rest easy Gary Rossington!
F*&king amazing. Gary on that lead slide is unbelievable. Masterpiece of a concert performance.
The best Band!!! Forever!
Simple and straightforward. All honestly. Super.
The clean-up of both the audio and video is remarkable.
Excellent job folks.
DAMN!...WOW!...nuff said!
Live Classic Southern Rock Perfection !!! Great stuff !!!
The best back then, and always will be, listen to them all the time, music never gets old! 🎧🍺🥃🎸🎤🤟☝️❤️
Hell yeah Johnny boy loves Skynyrd...
Great song. Rock on!
That's what a Les Paul should sound like.
Damn that tone!!
Brutal... 👍👍👍
Still give me chill
LEGENDS!!!!
Beautiful keys on this verison.
Legend
Great to see.
Gods of Rock!!!🎸
An ARMY of lethal guitars! Story goes Ronnie was a work ethic dude, these guys practiced in steamy weather and he pushed the band, Billie Powell will never be topped, just an excellent combination all around! Don't forget how free Americans were back then too...
they sound like they are in a recording studio, great
Great band great song!!!!! ❤❤❤❤
gaines had that funk
The live version is always better than the studio version in my opinion.
I was there too - they were by far the best band that day utter class - and also Captain Beefheart was ace - a great day and a shame the stones were poor
Billy Preston enhanced the Stones Show I felt.
Thank you.
Damn that plane
Steve Gains, Allen and Gary could shred on those guitars and Billy on keyboards. I won't even go into Ronnie's voice. He was the band. Came up with the name and made those boys practice, practice, practice. The record company's said they were so pulled together in perfection at their auditions.
It was actually Bob Burns who came up with the name.
Jimmy@ Monterey, Blind Owl, & Carlos at Woodstock these guys@ Knebworth some things are just too epic to ever be repeated
What a joy to watch..
When I go to Heaven and I’m floating on my fluffy cloud. That’s all I want to hear….LYNYRD SKYNYRD
AMEN!
Amen brother
Great music! Thanks for sharing
a great guitar riff
Awesome!!! Охренено классно! 🤘Чувствуется дух того времени. Кому-то повезло быть там... 🙏
Ronnie was a bad dude on and off the stage!
they are the best ever
I was there too. Lynyrd Skynyrd woke us all up and got us on our feet on a hot day where you could get stoned just breathing the air, and after some fairly unexciting sets from Todd Rundgren’s Utopia, The Don Harrison Band, and Hot Tuna. The Stones were great too. No-one "blew anyone off the stage". They are different bands with different styles and they each did what they do exceptionally well. The Stones did have a lot of sound issues though, with occasional excruciating feedback.
The Rockers are rocking’. Thank you.
My 19 year old sister was watching her baby brother ( me) while my parents were on vacation in Spain from the United States for 3 weeks. I had just turned 12 years old. My sister's boyfriend wanted my sister to go and see some band outdoors in Georgia. So she had to take me along. I'll never forget that night. It was thousands of people standing up and raising hell. My sister's boyfriend decided to show me the finner things in life. Like pot and bootleg alcohol while my sister wasn't paying any attention. I also was shown how to pee in a gallon jug in public. This band became my favorite band that night. 1974.
That’s an epic story ! You were so fucking lucky you had no idea for the longest time though I bet. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦 !
Brutal.... saludos desde cali colombia....🤪
Y desde Bogotá.

Great music and amazing band !
I check these vids out every few months or so. It is staggering how good Skynyrd was. Check out some cover bands doing this tune. Then come back to this. The difference is beyond belief.
I don't care what you play & listen to as long as it's LYNYRD SKYNYRD.........and nuthin' else!!!!!!!!!!
Like it...🎸😍
Prue Gold. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
One, Two, Buckle My Shoe!
Fucking Awesome
Searching is the best Track from the Knebworth show if you can find it. I have it on DVD but it was apparently removed from CZcams🎸🎸🎸👍🏾☠💚
I was there :-]
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
As documented, Mick made a comment about the boys and the "tongue". Ronnie made a point to take the entire band and walk down to the front. They smoked the Stones that day.
Yep.... True Rebels and ignored the 'Tongue' Ban!
t they are like Acdc straight up and down and bad ass
Best song / my favorite!!!!!
No one can hold a candle to the southern masters
UK- stars and bars. some "woke" idiot tore down my flag. it was in memory of skynyrd, i wasn't planning to reintroduce slavery!
i prefer metal and punk as my favorite fourm of music...but this a great performance and will always stand the test of time ..i grew up listening to them:)
Great song & great performance! I know this song from the The Longest Yard where Burt Reynolds drives the shit out of a Citroën SM... that is legend!
The absolutely greatest performance ever with almond brothers filmore East a close second the south yess
Almond brothers? C’mon man, you’re not even trying.
@@billyv321 look it up
@@davidvanzant2019 Allman Brothers
Artimus didn't miss a beat taking over for Bob Burns. I can't imagine another drummer filling Bob's shoes besides him.
Wow
A fine machine running on all cylinders wow
I was there for the Doobies and Allman's in '75....
No Doobies - Steve Miller and Captain Beefheart.
Sorry Mike I'm getting confused . Doobies and Allman Bros 74. Can't remember The Doobies for some reason.. Tim Buckley and Mahavishnu Orchestra there. 75 was Pink Floyd and Steve Miller Band. I missed 76 because wasn't fussed seeing The Stones. Lynyrd Skynrd certainly turned up though! Happy Days!
76 was fucking a good year !!!!!😎
