Moscow has been brilliant over the years. Wish him all the best, will miss his input.
My fondest memory of Moscow was the 24hour sponsored podcast for the Leeds food bank. He got so bored he started to look around the house for any alcohol. He polished the six packs, then the wine, and then found a bottle of gin and got drunker and drunker and by the end of the 24 hours he was hilariously too drunk.

Farewell Moscow. It won't be quite the same without you. My best memory of you was convincing me we weren't getting relegated in PL season 2 when it looked like we would. You could always find a positive outlook when the chips were down and with Leeds we could always do with a bit of that. Best of luck for the future
Sorry to see Moscow go, but Dan, Michael and Rob remain essential listening for Leeds fans, and are more than capable of steadying the ship and moving TSB Podcast into the new season and hopefully back to the Premier League.
Watching Archie play and develop from my North Stand seat was the highlight of last season for me. Looking forward to seeing him in an England shirt in the near future. Disappointing but understandable. Will also miss Moscow and his unique brand of humour. Cheered me up on a many a soggy Saturday.
This is about as near as possible as sitting around a west Yorkshire pub talking to your mates about Leeds. Love it. Go on lads!

Archie sounds quite positive about the move. It really sounds like it was his decision in everything he’s had to say about it. “When Spurs came and I had the opportunity…” for instance. He spoke about how Ange Postecoglou was ‘a massive factor’ in the decision. “I love him, my whole family loves him”.
It really doesn’t sound like anyone was twisting his arm to move.
Spurs will win the league with Gray England regular.

He’s always going to say those kind of things, he’s just signed for a new club with a huge fee and pressure, he’s going to make the right comments to appease the fanbase. I wouldn’t read too much into it.

Losing Archie is like being kicked in the balls, at first it hurts a lot then after a while you start to get a bit of relief, once you stand back and look at the deal it's not a bad deal to be honest but it still hurts. Sorry to see Moscow go his waffling has always put a smile on my face.

Moscow is up there in terms of brilliant writing, with Phil Hay. I am even considering cancelling my Athletic subscription for Moscow's. Moscow's piece on the departure of Archie is superb.
Grey is a Swiss army knife in defence and defence mid. A true asset to any club. If he was put in a 9 shirt he'd still perform.

I'm not normally a podcast fan, but Moscow drew me in (plus thinking why do I recognise Dan Moylan's voice) so there's going to be a big hole in the show, isn't there? One that Rob is going to step up and fill, so I hope he's in line for a massive pay-rise. Plus, you should really give Leedsista a bit of a plug for Moscow, too.
The point on the club insisting on a release clause is a really good one. Possibly it might have been more the case that they happily agreed to that clause rather than insisting on it themselves, but either way it gave the club a convenient way to raise funds and still be able to plead that there was nothing they could do to prevent Archie leaving. After the nonsense last summer you'd have thought the club would have been a bit more circumspect about having its hands tied with release clauses. But maybe I'm just being a cynic.
Abso-b-lootlee on best of luck to Moscow. He’s family. Full agreement also on the Archie analysis and sentiment too. One sidelines tweak to yers that you mentioned Bielsa and Christiansen at Copa America but not young Mr Marsch who has taken Canada out of the group stage for the first time in our history… water bottles everywhere running fir the hills for fear of Jesse’s Canuckian celebrations to come… but I get why the omission … BUT… biggest thanks despite a sad “the one where Archie left us” episode among us friends, was the repartee about the beans… I really bloody needed the smile that brought. I'm going to miss Moscow, loved his knowledge and how dry his humour was. Hope he's happy and successful in whatever his future plans are.

It was a no brainer for everybody except the fans and am really pleased for archie 22 million for playing football for 6 yrs , you can't turn that down
In the same way Haaland has a dream of winning trophies for Leeds in the top flight... there's a few versions of things could happen in, say, five years time. One of those possible realities is we stay profitable and sustainable with ruthless support and leadership with direction and vision... we become a comfortable main stay back in the top flight... Archie is hitting his prime, has less to prove and looking for a new challenge close to his heart. Harry Gray is still part of the Elland Road bricks and mortar and all he needs to complete his legacy is the push of a bit of friendly internal sibling rivalry. Erling is the Leeds and he knows he is... my point is I think we're doing what's right for now and if any of these players wishes and dreams are truly written, there's time for it to manifest.
See yer Moscow. Peace of mind is worth protecting. Doubt its easy doing these pods and having your views and thoughts gone over with a fine toothed comb. Over time I guess it takes it's toll. All the best....glad Dan and Michael still holding it together. Robs a good bloke too.

If the cutoff date was the 30rh and we sold him afterwards i'd say that points more towards we weren't in psr trouble and in fact have just banked it in for this season. The fact we've got Rodon too is a quality bit of business. It's sad to see him leave as it was amazing to watch him play. All the best archie + moscow.
There's been talk that it does count if negotiations were started before the end of season.

This is the most depressing start to a season since we were relegated to league 1.. We’ve lost so much of what makes Leeds United what it is.. And it’s taken a part of my soul and love for the game with it 😒😞

Psr isnt stupid it stops Newcastle being a new man city or the destruction of community assets like we pioneered decades ago. Efl might be more strict but thats because clubs are at bigger risk and thereby fans.

The realities of being in the championship. These are the consequences of not going up. If we want to be a successful club and football team, then we will have to treat this more like a business. That doesn’t mean that I am happy that Archie is gone (I am not), but it is a reality.
40m is hell of a lot for 1 player. But I think it will be for 2. Got a feeling Harry will be following him😢
When we sold Raphinia and Phillips we replaced them with Rocca and Aaronson.

I saw a glimpse of Charlie Crew in the pre-season video. With Gray out of the picture, I wonder if we'll start seeing him involved more in first team games.
In my opinion if a player is bought the fee should be instantly paid for . Not over a few years with a deal to a club and not on a club credit card. Either you can afford it or not.
I do agree with player swaps or part swaps but the fee should be instantly paid or no deal.
a player that supports the club as a fan, will play the best they can as often as they can than a player you buy from some random club from where-ever, so its not just talent sold, its reliability

Agree rodon was more important to us last year than Archie and he saved Archie by covering on at least 2 occasions which of course he had to do as Archie pushed forward. course Archie ceiling is massive

I'd say Archie's speed in space when defending can be an issue. Liam Miller from Preston absolutely smoked Archie time and time again in their match up.

Not many of use like to lose friends, colleagues, neighbours.

Spurs have better fullbacks and midfield players than Archie, just now,
so he may not get much game time.
He felt the love from the Leeds fans every time he touched the ball.
At Spurs he will have to win them over, like all big money players.

I know they sold him for financial reasons but if we have investors, they shouldn't have needed to sell him. It seems like Red Bull are already wanting money out of the club. I hope Archie doesn't end up like Jack Clarke, playing in the Championship in two seasons time. I don't think Archie would have wanted to leave, not at this early stage in his career.

It's a reality of championship football, if the team doesn't take it's chances then you lose your best players. I'm a little surprised they got Rodon, i thought he would go to one of the promoted clubs.

Sorry to see you leave Moscow. It's really not a good summer for Leeds, selling our favourite son, selling out the Gray family, and a partnership with Red Bull. It's all about money, makes me feel sad and less attached to the club now
So where does that £60m red bull investment get accounted for in PSR? Surely have loads of headroom now?

Getting rid of PSR doesnt help us as if we got into the PL ,within 1 or 2 seasons we would be 7th in terms of revenue and with a bigger Elland Road , Newcastle would be nowhere near us . Without PSR, Newcastle would be bigger than MU and that really would be ridiculous .

This is what happens unfortunately when we blow an opportunity to get promoted to the PL. If we would have got promoted, this wouldn't be happening! Farke and some of the squad have to take some of the blame for our failure last season.

the more i think about it, the more i don't like it. The fact we sold our name to Red Bull, that's bad enough. An yet, despite that money, despite hollywood actors, sports stars buying into Leeds, we still sell our crown jewel. And yes, i hear and get some of the reasons why. It still sucks though, it's all about money. Heritage and history count for nothing when it comes to making yet more money
