The cards in the French cosmic pack were cards from shinning a fates. Think it was resealed .

it was a resealed shiningfates pack but inside a cosmic eclipse, it wasnt fake but it probably was a scam

True story, cards are actually quite expensive in France. I knew just one store where one pack of cards = ~5.30$, most of the time it was around 8$. My childhood was expensive :(
I moved to Japan this year, I discovered that they sell packs at the konbini for 280-300yen (2.15-2.30$) each... Daaaamn.
Japanese cards are also cheaper because there are only around 6 cards in a pack.
Same stuff for Germany. Cards always cost around $5. Some years ago, they only costed $3/pack.

I'm french and I agree ! Now, a booster pack is almost 6€ and some shops (it's rare but it does happen) sell booster boxes at 35€ when the real price would be around 25€

That cosmic eclipse pack was resealed. Had SWSH cards in it, and cosmic eclipse is a SM era set.

As a fellow Batman and Pokemon fan, that Pikachu Batman figure was the most legit thing you got in my opinion. I'm rather jealous but I ain't risking anything on Wish even after that haha.

Wish providing fake cards was about as inevitable as Thanos 🤣🤣🤣 Maybe it would be cool to see if the other items sold on Wish like rugs and stuff come back as good quality too 🤷🏻♂️

i had like 30 packs not a single good card. and im sure even burger king did one with cards?
or that was the mcdonalds one. where they gave only 1 card each meal. and all i got was meowth and not a single pikachu. had to trade with a kid of all things gave him 5 cards to get one.
@@miciso666 maybe one day I’ll be able to get that card! And yes! Burger King and McDonald’s both gave out cards. McDonald’s does it more often tho. I have around 8 McDonald’s one and one Burger King. Pretty neat to have!

Best fake I have encountered was a booster box from ali express. I was trying to see how real fakes were. And when I opened the box, I thought they were real because they used the official empty pack wrappers but filled them with fake cards. It is good for kids to play with but bad for collectors.

Dude I think you got bamboozled with the Cosmic Eclipse pack because those are Shining Fates cards. The set sign is incorrect and I recognized a lot of the cards even though I never opened any Cosmic Eclipse (I did open a lot of Shining Fates)

I think your right. I have opened 3 Shining Fates ETBs and have found that volcanion card in there many times before.
Just saying there was a ball guy who wasn't in sun and moon and also the shield dog so definitely a fake cosmic eclipse pack

I've gotten to the point where I just buy a full booster box from my local store which I'm surprised they would let me buy it but if there's packs already sold from the box they always seem happy to top it up with extra packs for me
When I got back into the hobby, I had been out of it for a long time. I heard about the set "shining fates" but didn't know anything about it. I ordered a shining fates booster box online...
I got my t-shirt and coin in the mail yesterday! That coin is beautiful and very well made! I'm glad I bought it! You still continue to be in my top five favorite poketubers!🤘
I love these video. I know it sucks to get all fake stuff but it is still funny and interesting to see what crazy things people make to try and make an easy buck.

I used to collect card when I was little, but stopped after I was 10, now I'm 23 and a few months ago I got back to collecting, I made the mistake of trusting Ali express when I saw the prices of the booster packs xD The packs I got where EXACTLY like this ones lol
Of course after that and a lot or research now I can say I'll never get scammed again

Started watching your vods a month ago due to my recomendations. Always love watching card opening vods. Was a MTG collector and player but its been difficult to collect them lately. Actually got my first Pokemon tin earlier today with the Mew V promo! Though I'm curious about opening Pokemon packs because the uncommon and rates are towards the beginning. How many cards do you have to go back to get commons first?
Also, unlike MTG there are more types of card packs available. What kind of products should I get for my value?

Also, In terms of value, go for a booster box (avg pack cost is about $3, but bigger buy in). Also consider 3 pack blisters ($13 for 3 packs), or single sleeved blisters ($4).

I will say as far as the bulk sets of basic and common cards, its great for building a collection to play with. I know youtubers always love going for rare pulls for the content and value but being a big fan of the card game itself I'd love a pile of any cards for a decent price

Regarding Pokemon as Flash cards, we used them to teach our son to read. Buy a few packs, or loose cards. Go through and have him read one. Once he got it right, we would let him have it. He loved it and was really eager to learn to read.
