Fantastic!! Imagine they were driving home from a stay in the hospital, dreading their lawn chores. They discover a visit from a good Samaritan!! Praise goodness for the work you did!!
I have a friend she was working 12's and sometime doubles as a RN and sometimes a traveling nurse and never have time to do anything at her home. So for all of 2020-2021. I cut her yard and did her flower beds. It was until this year a neighbor down the street told her she saw me cutting her yard and painting. I learned this when I stopped by to see her one Sunday after church and she just cried like a baby! thanking me! (ok she had me in tears too) because I never said word there was no need! and I refused to take anything... no gift not even a card. I feel like she gives of herself and her health everyday for strangers. It is a honor!!! to help as God has blessed me many time to survive health issues and two horrific car accidents... That being said, man I love what you do and the fact you did this. Like another post said, we just never know what people are going through or dealing with in life. Keep being awesome man!

There is an organization here for seniors and the disabled. They have handymen, housecleaners, guys who will mow lawns and do leaves in the fall, etc. and they literally enabled my 90 year old mom to stay in her house at least 10 years longer than she would otherwise be able to. I wonder if there is a similar organization in your town who you could help out? It's not like a formal arrangement or anything. They just call in when they need help or if they strike up a relationship with the provider, they arrange privately for their services, This job was, as all you do, well done, lads!
I’m not sure if we have anything like that around here. I’ll have to look in to it and see because that would be a great way for us to help.

Sometimes but when we do it without anyone knowing we are not able to see their reaction but that’s ok. I’m sure they were surprised when they came home from work and probably a little confused.

So much better to see this done for people who have struggled to keep up for what ever reason. I've quit watching most of the Abandoned home cleanups. For the most part they only benefit banks and local governments. But I guess neighbors are thankful for it.
We just hope we made their day when they got home from work.

I d just be happy to have my back fence cut back. Hard now to do by myself. Saplings and weeds growing from the farmers ' fence.ll through to mine. My extension cords will not reach.to use my electric hedge trimmers. Maybe I ll just use a tree or wood saw. Got to figure it out. Lol work in process I guess
that was a nice surprise for the neighbour. just an odd thought, what if they did not want the long weeds chopped, but rather wanted to pull them out.
I have never really thought about it but I guess they can wait a few weeks and they will grow back.

Great job but I don't think anybody lives there.
So now the owner will wonder when he will get a bill for the work but hoping you mowed the wrong yard. I bet a neighbour tells him he saw a mowing company there. However, I have mowed the neighbour’s yard when I mowed mine. I like the grass even.
We hope it makes things a little easier for them.
Honestly the house looked like it was abandoned.
We talked to the neighbors and they said someone lives there they were just gone to work.

Super cool you surprised next door neighbor, but just be cautious. If you were to hit something and damage it', I d expect you to have to go to court even though you were helping a neighbor out. You made a decision with spunk, and I would have done the same! Go for it!!!
