    I had my ruptured aneurysm 10 months ago. This animation is exactly what happens. I received the coiling. I will never forget this experience nor will I forget how fortunate I was my life was saved. Watching this video explains in an easy to understand manner what happens. The symptoms are exactly correct. The headache was excruciating..as if I was hit from behind with a huge hammer. I survived, but not everyone does. Recovery was a slow process.

    I had a 13mm aneurysm in my brain . I went to the er because the left side of my body was numb . They rushed me to the ct scan and found it before it ruptured . I had a angiogram before I had surgery to see what operation would be best and the next day I had surgery . They put a stint in the aneurysm to prevent it from rupturing. I had serious complications weeks later because it was so big . I was having the bad compilations till it shrunk . Like numbness in my arms and legs . Here I am now 4 months later living my life .

    it's basically the artery system on the base of your brain which will "relay" the blood to the brain. It makes a circle which has input from 4 big arteries. It's quite cool to have this circle because of one of the 4 big arteries is not big enough the physical laws of pressure within tubes will still keep the brain supplied

    I used to work for Sequent Medical, Inc. in Aliso Viejo, CA as a research and development technician. We developed a MUCH better way of treating aneurysms; a web embolization. Our product is 100% much better than coils. What if one of the coils came through the ruptured part? The webs that Sequent Medical invented if formed EXACTLY to the size of the aneurysm.

      @@ergis.personal3524yes, you can have an MRI done of your brain or an angiogram to detect an aneurysm.

    • @Stargazer69
      @Stargazer69 Před rokem

      @@EstebanDoffiAn aneurysm develops when a weakened part of the artery becomes thinner in time, primarily because the blood exerts pressure on the walls when it passes through the blood vessel. This bulge may rupture and cause internal bleeding.
      Though aneurysms may occur in any part of the body, the most common site is the brain, which makes stroke one of the leading causes of death worldwide. A ruptured aneurysm releases blood into the spaces in the brain, causing subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). This catastrophic event needs urgent medical attention. This condition is fatal, with a 50 percent risk of death.
      Scientists have found that anger actually causes an almost seven-fold increase in the risk of a brain bleed. But having high blood pressure, being under stress, or doing any heavy lifting or working out can also cause your blood pressure to rise and can cause the aneurysm to burst.

    0:11 you do know the heart right? anyway to get blood throughout your ogans, our bodies have arteries and veins also known as Blood vessels.
    0:50 diseases,injuries, or birth defects. well that is a bit broad and you need to ask your doctor more about those risk (hypertension,concussion etc)
    1:07 in that part think of a balloon. To inflate a balloon you need to introduce some air into it. everytime the balloon stretches some part of rubber become thin and when more air is introduce it pops
