I'm from London but I worked in LA for a year about 15 years ago. One night I was exploring Griffith Park and I parked my car to stretch my legs. I'd parked close to Table 29. I had no idea of it's history - it was just an odd sight. As was checking it out, all the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I realized I was absolutely terrified. I was being watched and felt waves of hatred and malice coming from behind the trees. I'd never felt so threatened in my life and I got the hell out of their. I soon forgot about it until two years ago when I saw videos about Table 29 on CZcams.
Kirk Douglas was a suspect in her death, due to her leaving behind a letter addressed to a "Kirk", not such a common name & a friend of hers. He raped Natalie Wood when she was a teen, so who knows? 👎🏻
Of the top of my head I remembered that my family celebrated easter at Griffith Park. It was packed with families and everyone just having fun but we started noticing that a ton of helicopters were flying over us. Turned out a kid fell down a sewer pipe when he decided to go exploring with his cousins. It was just a surreal feeling of everyone on their phones watching the news for updates about a kid that wasn't even that far from us. This was in 2018.
In the mid eighties as a teen, my boyfriend and I drove an hour north to attend Pink Floyd The Wall at Griffith Observatory. We were winding up the hill and halfway way up we both decided that we couldn’t find the place and turned around and went home! To this day I don’t understand what happened.
Dory Previn wrote and recorded "Mary C Brown and the Hollywood Sign," using that name instead of Peg Entwhistle. It's an interesting song. Edit. I am not a real warm and fuzzy person, but I want to say that if you are struggling, don't give up. Peg gave up one day too soon. The day after she jumped, a letter arrived offering her a role.
Lived in Hollywood hills/Los feliz area for a number of years. Walking distance to GP. And I’ve never felt anything in the “bad vibes” realm there. For over 20years. Definitely in some hotels in downtown tho! This was interesting to listen to!
Griffith Park is gorgeous and DEFINITELY very strange. I used to go up there almost every weekend - with or without friends - hiking or biking. I know every inch of that park on and off trail and I've been there at all hours of the day and night. My brothers and I would frequently sneak in for late night hikes and even stay out there until sunrise...drinking beers and "dodging" rangers. I haven't seen any hiding man (yet), but man, I / my brothers and friends have seen some really weird sh!t. Rest in Paradise to all those who have passed in the park and P-22...you are missed!
Missed you Steve , wondered what happened to you and if you disappeared, then once I found your new channel I unsubscribed from the other one , once I went through each video and couldn’t find all yours , then left them a note saying it wasn’t the same without you and I was unsubscribing , now I’m happy to have you back
Hey steve. Been to griffith park many times and the observatory . (Im southern California). L.A is a bit out of the way for me so i dont go there much these days and unfortunately like alot of areas of LA county, the park has seen an increase of unstable homeless. Glad to see you covering the legends of it. Take care ✌️
Grew up next to the park. Remember at age 5 going up to the observatory to watch all the fireworks across the city. It was amazing. Took my driving lessons there in high school (late 60s). Got stranded learning to drive during a major rainstorm. The roads on the hill sides looked like waterfalls. Lots of adventures and good memories there.
Born and raised in LA. I've hiked all Griffith Park since I was like 7 years old. I've hiked late nights and early nights. I've seen owls, snakes, bobcats, deer, coyote, tarantula, scorpion, hawks, skunks, ringtail fox, and I once saw a puma, I've never seen a ghost or anything like that but wildlife at night become more active because there are less people around and sometimes these animals make odd noises at night and when you're hiking at night and hear noises your mind will think its anything.
Fascinating! I've never heard of all these legends. The only one I knew about was the starlets suicide from the Hollywood sign. Thank you for the background history of the park.
Yes, Steve! I missed your voice on Missing Persons Mysteries channel. I hardly ever hear your voice on there. So glad this channel came up in my feed! Just subscribed:)
Been to Griffith Park many a time especially for concerts. When I lived there we went a million times. Been to the zoo when I was young. Loved the Pink Floyd lazier shows! Good times to be buzzed up!
I've hiked Griffith Park and more than anything you do get that feeling that you're not alone. It's pretty humbling because you go from being in a city of millions of people to feeling like the Omega Man. I would say though that my biggest fear while hiking there is the potential embarrassment of being the victim of a rare mountain lion attack somehow.
I unsubscribed from the previous channel. You were narrating on Steve. I’m glad to have found you again. I enjoy your narrative and the compassion and empathy you have.
I was disliking videos and asking everybody what happened to Steve Stockton on the Missing Person Channel. Then when I found Steve Stockton again, I hit that unsubscribe. Love you Steve!
I did the same exact thing. Not only did I dislike videos and unsubscribe the Missing Persons channel but the guy that they got as a replacement narrator is absolutely awful! His voice, tone, and delivery is terrible. I was so happy to have found Steve’s new channel!
I left a bunch of his links over there. I wonder if they were hidden somehow. I can't believe that they didn't do whatever they had to in order to keep him, as Steve is the whole show!
Hey Steve!!! I am so beyond happy I found where you went to!!! I was afraid maybe you had retired or something. Look, I don’t want to come into your comments being negative, but truthfully, “Missing Persons Mysteries” is just so bad.. I mean it’s bad. I would rather listen to nails scraping a chalkboard than have to listen to that channel. Keep up the amazing work Steve! I’ll be here listening to your phenomenal channel for as long as we are both around :)
I so enjoy listening to your stories. I think the research you do is amazing. I am so very glad I found your new channel a few months ago. Keep up the good work. Love from Maryland.
Griffith Park is creepy weird. Always feels like you are being watched, that you might slip through a time portal, that something really strange is about to happen.
California is so beautiful and elegant I definitely want to visit the redwoods and historic parks there.. but my god… that state is FULL of strange things
Long time listener, first time poster! You’re super right on the hauntings here! Voices, women apparitions, shadows, energy force threats, orbs blue red, and red eyed dogs in the adjacent river!
The man donated cursed land LA itself? So the curse of Griffith park is now actually the curse of LA. If you see how the city devolved over the years I'm sure it's not a coincidence.
I don't even know what kind of work the Observatory can do anymore with all of that light pollution. Maybe they're looking for "DOTTIE". Some will get it.
In 2013 me and my girlfriend went hiking griffith park at nite , we stopped to take a break on a picnic table near a watering trough for horses when we heard a large tree branch fall about 100ft away and we where like WTF , GLAD I HAD MY .45 1911 ON ME SO I PULLED IT OUT THINKING IT WAS A MOUTAIN LION, BUT NOW I KNOW IT WAS PROBLY A GHOST.

Frightening, isn't it? Thanks for watching, my friend!
@@TalesUntoldYT No worries. That was the best year of my life.
I felt the same thing in Halloween morning 2010 in Westminster CA . Then I saw the image of the hatman in my head like a hallucination . Very scary.
The picnic table is a hoax newspaper article 😂
Thank you @AMONG THE MISSING
Hemiii❤
@@MelissaNicoleYT How are you hun?, ❤️
I liked that "Cruel Summer" guitar rendition at the beginning. Took me a second to recognize it. This was a great episode, but they all are!
There was an up and coming actress named Jean Spangler, whose body was never found although some of her belongings were. This was around 1949.
Kirk Douglas was a suspect in her death, due to her leaving behind a letter addressed to a "Kirk", not such a common name & a friend of hers. He raped Natalie Wood when she was a teen, so who knows? 👎🏻
I’ve heard her story. It’s crazy
Thanks Steve❤
grew up across the LA river from the park - I lived at the Jessup dairy as a kid - Spent many hours exploring .
Of the top of my head I remembered that my family celebrated easter at Griffith Park. It was packed with families and everyone just having fun but we started noticing that a ton of helicopters were flying over us. Steve! Caught my husband watching your channel and he didn’t even know I was a subscriber. We can binge you together now😊
Sounds like to me that the hiding man was created by the artist that all of a sudden started selling merchandise based off of the hiding man
Definitely has the creepy factor
Best channel on CZcams hands down

Took a few field trips to Griffith Park as a kid and teen, and once with my mom. I loved that place. It was beautiful in those days.
Lived in Hollywood hills/Los feliz area for a number of years. Walking distance to GP. And I’ve never felt anything in the “bad vibes” realm there. For over 20years. Definitely in some hotels in downtown tho!
This was interesting to listen to!
Just like most everyone else glad i found your new channel. Hope all is well Steve.
Glad I found Steve's channel, was checking in missing persons channel for months. They're boring as can be, content and narration. This is much better

I could listen to you talk for hours. You have such a soothing voice.
There you are Steve!!! I’m so happy and relieved I found you! Your voice is like no other.
Thank you, Angela! Welcome Home!
I didn't know the Griffith park was so big ,so much tragedy the story really creeped me out thanks steve and God bless.
I grew up going to Griffith Park with my father. We used to see a lot of Hollywood actors there but not much else.
*My knew favorite channel*

Thanks for watching, Ed! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I've spent a lot of time in Griffith park. The picnic table definitely gives off a negative energy. I've walked past it many times.
Awesome video , I love you Steve
I found you! I was wondering whats going on and why i cannot find your old videos in the missing persons channel.

I first heard of Griffith Park watching L.A. by Night.
It’s the ghosts of the ostriches I’d be terrified of! 😂
Interesting mysterious place there's alot od strange national parks in California that have anomalies

Griffith Park is creepy weird. Always feels like you are being watched, that you might slip through a time portal, that something really strange is about to happen.

Thank you for amazing wonderful video. Great job. Love your channel. 💗💕❤
The whole hiding man thing is probably just the artist creating hype for his urban legend merch tbh. Sounds very much like an art project.
Plenty of creepy stuff happens there.
Cracks me up that the picnic table is still mentioned all these years when it was a fake newspaper article that started it all.
👍🥰✌️💯 ty ATM

It spread to Chavez, which became dodger’s stadium! Super land grab! That creates more great history! Fill it my friend!
Thanks for joining us here on my NEW and IMPROVED channel!
I've seen abnormally large dogs in the L. A. river in Tarzana.

The 1969 murder victims Leno LaBianca and Rosemary LaBianca lived in that area.

I had an uncomfortable feeling when I visited that park. Something not right. That was in 2002.
I told my dog that Steve said, "hi," but dog didn't seem to care.
America is cursed by the ghost dance...living on the most fertile and profitable land, but who knew?
