- Found these two veteran graves and noticed and infant tucked in the middle of them. At first I assumed it was a father and mother, but as I looked a little more, it seems that it’s the baby girls father and grandfather surrounding her body in the afterlife. Absolutely beautiful.
How lovely Julia is resting between them both 🤍
Found this early in my ancestry search. " I am bound to them, though I can not look into their eyes or hear their voices. I honor their history, I cherish their lives. I will tell their story, I will remember them."
Thank you sir for such a wonderful service you are doing for our hero`s and heroine`s, i am watching this for the very first time in New Zealand.. My husband was stationed at Quonset Point Naval Base Rhode Island in the very early 70`s.
I really love how we’re getting messages from people so far away. Blows my mind. Thanks for watching our little channel!
What’s more rewarding than me cleaning stones? You cleaning them and me watching. Listen to those birds!!! Great job! ❤
Hahahaha. Our pleasure.
Just hired someone in another state to clean my great grandparents graves today!! I never knew them, but my father loved them. Thank you for doing this work.
Wonderful! I have been debating seeing if a legit business doing this type of work could be possible. I am not a businessman though, so I am on the fence.
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival he advertised on FB and my cousin saw it and let me know. He is well known in their community in TN. I’m in MI.
❤ Thank you for the wonderful thing that you do so that they won't be forgotten, God bless you.
You are so welcome, Debbiehirose
Thank you for everything you do and also Thank you for your service
Thank you, Janetemerson. I really do appreciate it.
Thank you 🇺🇸
What respect more people should care about veterans would love to know what products you use I'm Canadian and would love to this here for our veterans ❤ 💕 😊
I have a rain water barrel and we use a product called D2 biological solution. Then no metallic brushes. We usually spray D2 on first and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then when using the water keep the brushes and stone wet for best results. Ones it’s all done and rinsed off, one more coating of the D2. After a couple weeks the results are incredible.
MM stands for Machinists Mate. My late husband was one of those and he primarily worked in the engine room of the ship he served on, keeping everything in prime working order. Have you found a good source of D2? I know Walmart has it, at least the bigger stores. And Amazon.
Thank you for that! I see a lot of these older ranks or acronyms that were before my time and can't figure them out. I get my D2 from Atlas Preservation(not a sponsor). I have never seen it at any Walmart or place like that. I know Amazon has similar products, but none that I have tried...so I am a bit hesitant to use something else and risk damaging a stone.
What a lovely man ❤❤❤
You are so kind
How wonderful of you.
Well done amazing job 🫡👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much 😀
You are doing a awesome cleaning, bless you💜🦋
Thank you ❤
I like what you are doing. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much and for watching, Wendy.
You are a awesome person, just think if there were people like you in this world how great that would be. Thank you for everything.😊
You are so kind
This is absolutely wonderful. Thank you for the tip to use the D2 cleaner. I just ordered some to clean family tombstones in Waterville NY on my next trip home!! I hope the family of these war hero’s find great comfort in your service to their loved ones!
So happy to be a new subscriber. You are so respectful of these graves, and I so appreciate that. Hugs from Houston ❤
Thanks for subbing and welcome to the team, Trish.
As always, you did a great job on these stones, Christopher. I noticed how your subscribers have increased as well as your likes! WOOHOO!!
Thank you! Yeah in the last month we have grown quite a bit. We crossed 8k today. Which is 7,990k more than I ever thought we’d get. Haha. The comments are getting a little challenging to reply to all of them. I’m trying though.
Beautiful
Thank you, Janetwhite!
Thank you for your service Thank you for everything you do my dad was army he passed in2006
Founded on Aug. 29, 1916, the U.S. Naval Reserve Force (USNRF) opened up enlistment requirements and organized Reservists into six categories based on their experience, trade, and area of operability. Naval Reserve Officer. Training Corps.
thank you for all you do .
Thanks for watching, Busymoms!
Just found out that USNRF means US Naval Reserve Force, founded 1916 😊
Thanks!
No, thank you! You’re our first “thanks”. We do appreciate you, Scottburley
Hey, I Appreciate what you do. God Bless You and Your Family
Thank you so much for your loving, careful and skillful restoration of these grave markers. They look so beautiful!❤🌹
I watch some channels of folks who do cemetery studies. They read the the gravestones and comment on some of the deceased. It is quite interesting, but i really wonder what in the heck they are talking about when they say "how beautiful the markers are"...when the markers are very old and often covered in moss, lichen, mold. They "love" the look and don't want them cleaned. When they illuminate the markers with a flashlight you can see that underneath all of the growth there are amazing carvings and epitaphs...but barely visible with all the growth.
It is so sad as these markers will soon be completely unreadable and all the history lost. I keep thinking Christopher needs to bring his skill and products there to show they can look really clean and beautiful with appropriate skills and appropriate products .
Thank you for your beautiful work! They look wonderful!❤
I feel the same. I cleaned two small children stones last month from the 1920s that were in really bad shape. I didn’t record the process, but took before and afters. Couldn’t make out much of anything even ever the cleaning. I was able to find them on find a grave through some digging and took new photos yesterday a few weeks after the D2 had time to work. You can read nearly everything now. Definitely made me happy to be able to update their pages with birth and death dates.
That is so wonderful! I love to see history preserved and appreciated ❤
I know not all grave markers are of the same material and can crumble but if a gravestone is safe to clean it is so gratifying to see it restored for family and history.
Thank you for your kindness and thoughtfulness in this important work.🌹
Does D2 remove lichen?
You do an amazing job.
How kind of you to do this work.
I can't help myself, had to look. PFC Lawrence was married to my 10th cousin twice removed. She died in 1966, he remarried.
If you haven't already (and forgive my not browsing your earlier videos), would you please consider doing a tutorial type, discussing the brushes, cleaning solutions and techniques you use to clean graves, and why you use the products and techniques that you use -- I am always eager to learn from others. As I'm sure you know, there are so many cleaning agents that are actually damaging to stones and damaging to particular types of stones -- marble, granite, etc. I personally use a bio-friendly cleaning agent, plastic bristle brushes and LOTS of water which I have to take to the cemetery as there is not water supply or irrigation system in my cemetery. Thanks.
Sounds like you already use the stuff we use. Lol. But we could definitely make one like that after this weekend.
What a tribute to our hero's you done great Job, God bless you ❤
Just finished cleaning the Founder’s Cemetary of Dallas TX ended up right in middle of an apartment complex bc no one knew where they all were until construction workers found them building the apartments!
Oh wow! That’s extremely interesting.
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival yes the graves were not relocated from the courtyard of the apartments. The graves are less than eight feet from apartment windows/doors!! That would be a little strange…unless they happened to be relatives who remained in DFW. Also some other of the early Dallas settlers were also buried but with markers of the 1700s vanished. Well, a major Hwy was built over them back in 1950s or 60s and back then one lane north, one lane south. Every few years the Hwy was widened to accommodate for increasing traffic. It can no longer be any bigger. When they started widening this last lane on each side, the construction crew dug up some remains of the first settlers (on the opposite side of the freeway from the Founder’s Cemetary at the apartments. You would think they would have looked for more graves since that seemed to be where the original people here settled.
So the construction stopped on the HWY until archeologists moved everyone out, and did an archeologist survey. The graves where relocated to the west or behind that side of the HWY. This way the construction could continue. The area of north Texas has some very interesting history as the area settled.
I’m sure people in your area are happy that the headstones there will be nice and clean with awesome American Flags for Memorial Day.
That’s a peaceful resting area where you are working hard with elbow grease getting them clean. Those edge graves where trees drip tree sap and other things that cause the growth on the stone could have been permitted by either placing the graves away from trees, or extend the trees away from the graves. It is a pretty place though!
Have a blessed day♥️
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival Where you in the service? I assumed since you saluted after you were finished cleaning here!
Yes. I was active duty Army for a few years until 2012.
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival Thank you for your service!🇺🇸
Job well done , 🇦🇺 most of us drive must old cemetery's in country Australia, the baby graves touches my heart .

Those look great
Amazing job. Thank you.
Our pleasure!
Thank you for all you do. Love your videos
Thanks for watching, dianabeets! We really do appreciate you taking a little of your time to watch our weird channel. LOL
I was wondering if the D2 could be used on granite. I saw others using it mostly on marble stones. So THANKS! 😊 Oh, this year my birthday falls on Memorial Day, I also was born on Memorial Day on an USAFB. 🎉
Thanks for doing what you do!! 🇺🇸 ✌🏻
PS: The granite looks good. Too bad they can’t figure out how to stop that “bleeding” that happens to the granite stone. Or maybe it’s just the granite stone in NC. 😊
We have been putting our D2 on all of the ones we do after finished for months now...just as an extra shot at keeping some of the growth off. All of the ones I have recently revisited look amazing still. The black sludge is definitely an issue and can be a pain in the butt to get off, but SO worth the effort.
Love your channel!
Well we love to hear that! Thank you for taking the time on us, dianenaylor.
This is my second video of yours I'm watching today and found that these two gentlemen are my tenth cousin the with regards to Lawrence Sr and my tenth cousin once removed in my mother's side with his son, Jr.
Not finding any record of the baby or connection via the Family Tree app. though. Sending you thanks once again.
I wish I was healthy enough to do this where I live in Wheeling, IL. Bless you.
The fact that you have connections to two of the individuals in our videos already is mind blowing. I need to check out the app you are using to see about myself and any possible connection to these folks.
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival You'll be surprised how many of the folks headstones you're working on may be distant cousins of yours too.
Then go to all the Presidents and famous folks. It's mind blowing for sure. It's very addicting to locate folks. This is why I watch programs like yours.
You're a great guy for doing this, Christopher! 💜💜
I appreciate that! You’re far too kind
Great one and great job. I'm watching like i said I would. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it, lmbclm!
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it,KevinMacdonald.
I would like to thank you for what you do because my Grandfather was in WW2 we love watching your videos. We try to do this to when my mom is filling up to . God Bless you
It is out please. Thank you for watching, Megan Elizabeth.
The baby was there before either soldier.
Yup. So they purposefully had themselves placed around her. At least that’s how I see it.
Just wondering if anyone stops by while you are there and asks why you are doing this service? I hope you get lots of offers to help.
Thank you again, especially for honoring the Princess of their family. My heart is just heavy for the parents of this little one.
It was nice to hear the plane engines overhead while you were working.
How’s the knee?
I have had several people come by while out there recording and ask about things. It's how I have gotten permission from some family members to clean their loved ones in later videos actually. We have had my friend Bonnie and her son Parker help on two different headstones so far. Having a few extra hands is always nice. The knee is good...it's the one I have had surgery on before, so I definitely need to be careful on it.
Jesse is usually a man’s spelling so he is very likely the grandfather. Jessie is a woman’s spelling which is likely Julia’s mother’s name. Is Jessie’s grave somewhere nearby? ( My mother’s name is Jessie and had her name was often misspelled with just an e.) Who knows maybe Frank and Jessie got together because her name was the same as his father?
My father was in WW II Army infantry. He was a marksman and served in North Africa and Italy. He received 2 bronze stars but refused to leave his commanding officers put in paperwork twice for wounds. He said he could not let my grandmother receive a telegram saying he had been wounded in action because that could be anything from a shrapnel wound to being on death’s door and he couldn’t do that to her. I lost him in 1999 at the age of 88. He destroyed the papers that went with his medals so we don’t know why he received them. He didn’t want anyone to know and he would not talk about being in the war. I know he was the best father ever!! I still miss him every day!!
Christopher thank you for caring for these brave veterans. You don’t know how it touches my heart. The transformations on some of these stones is astounding. I know you are proud to do it. Playing Taps at the end had me sobbing.♥️ NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸♥️🤍💙
My grandfather on my dad's side was also stationed in North Africa for a while in the 40s. Now wouldn't that be something if they knew each other.
Watching for the first time in Australia how long on average does it take to clean each stone?
Well welcome! It depends on the size typically….but a basic sized flat stone is about 10 minutes give or take. I have a couple videos on here where I try to see how fast I can clean one and still be respectful and do no harm….like 4 minutes. But most really don’t take much time at all.
Nice work! Thank you and also for doing the babies too. I would do who you are drawn to do. We are remembering them too! Who is the picture of, at the beginning?
That was supposed to be a “it’s gonna be May” joke about Justin Timberlake. But nobody got it. Lol.
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival I thought it looked like him! But then I was like is it Christopher?! lol 😂 so I went back looked and was like, no! Hehe 😉Sorry! Isn’t the song, it’s gonna be me?! 😳
lol. That’s the one! I should have used an older photo of him I guess. Haha. When he was more recognizable. 😂
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival So it is it’s gonna be me? Not May? I sometimes sing the wrong words! I used to think that Miley Cyrus song was I came in like a rainbow! lol 😂 it is wrecking ball! I found out along time after singing rainbow. Hehe 😉 Hey! I commented to you, about how to join patreon. Did you see it? I can’t find, any info on it. Sorry to be a pain! Have a nice weekend!
He may have been a Machinist Mate in the naval reserves. I also clean headstones of the military but I am a 72 year old female retired Correctional Officer I love what I am doing. I also use D2. The only one I trust.
I can only hope I am able to do this in my 70s. You are amazing and also retired corrections...I am glad I get to drop the bad guys off. Takes a special person to live there with them. Lol. You sound like one tough lady!
MM1 USNRF - Mechanic Mate 1, United States Navy Reserve Force
I was pretty close. Lol. I only know the Army ranks. Hahah.
@@VirginiaTombstoneRevival you were very very close. All three stones looked absolutely beautiful. Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do. Stay Safe and God Bless ✝️🙏🏻🇺🇸💙🥰
What is D2 spray?
It’s a special biological solution that is the best and safest thing to use on headstones. It’s the same thing they use at places like Arlington National Cemetery. After a few weeks of this, stones begin to look amazing again as it keeps working to kill any growth and brighten the stone.
Does this guy have permission to do this to these headstones?
He's helping to preserve them. The molds and fungi that grows on these are very damaging.
It's not illegal to do this if that's what you're asking.
They're reunited now.
Doyou need a permit to do this
Not a permit, but permission is best. Some older cemeteries don’t have anyone working them or maintaining them, so permission from those is nearly impossible to get….
Does this guy have permission to do this to these headstones?
Its NOT illegal if that is what you are asking.
Many of these are older and appear to not have any care taken of them anymore. I applaud him for volunteering his time and buying the expensive D2. There are a number of people who are doing this volunteer cleaning of old headstones. We need more people like him in this world of gripey, grumpy, and always complaining people.
@sandysue202 So right you are. It's sad that some people can seek out negativity in everything.
This is an Officer of the Law!! A wonderful man!! God bless him🙏🙏❤️❤️
And…. Why would one ask? Is it offensive to you?
