Tekken 4 is such a vibe, man. Definitely the best in the franchise. The story was grounded and serious, but there was still a touch of levity, and the music to these stages fucking KILLED. Maybe it’s just nostalgia. Maybe it’s not though, not even Tekken 3 felt like this. But it felt like the story was going somewhere different than where Tekken 5 and onward took it, idk.
11:05 is her stage 7 sub boss fight against Kazuya. Christie Montiero has the criteria for being one of the few characters in this game's roster to face a sub boss in her Story Mode playthrough.
I hope we see Christie Montiero return in a future Tekken game. We need some canonical entries to the franchise where she has her own ending, speaks her native language which is Portuguese, and to see her and Eddy become an item.
I don't see much Jamie Foxx there, but I definitely see some Beyonce mixed with J Lo. I'm guessing J Lo was a bigger part of the inspiration because she was a huge deal from 1999-2001, before Beyonce was a solo artist

Christie's and Eddy's shared ending takes place in the Arena stage. Christie will always fight Heihachi in her P1 outfit(her periwinkle capoeira pants) since she wears that outfit in her ending. @15:15 Christie will always perform that same exact win pose upon defeating Heihachi on stage 8. Since once she finishes it, we jump right into her ending.
Ikr. She didn’t even do capoeira in that movie I was like wtf?! Would’ve been really that hard to teach her a few basic capoeira moves or a stunt double? At least she was hot
well t4 Christie is the real deal. 2009 movie was just some people trying to make a tekken movie. i think even Harada didn't know and like that movie.even so very rarely live action fighting game movies succseed. but nowadays graphics are so powerful if they had decent script and namco made they could make something amazing. like new mk ingame movies. mk11, mk1
I liked the darkness but realness of this game. The story telling in the beginning was dramatic but accurate for a fighter who fights for a reason. The stages where places that u wouldn’t think someone would fight there, so it made it more fun to play because it was unique. The whole game was awesome, without special effects, the fighting stlye looked real as well. Missing this! Tekken 8 is to much anime for me
