if the bg is just a solid color, key it out. if it's not, you will have to use roto. but davinci resolve's magic mask and after effects roto brush will automate most of the process.
Gotta be honest this video as a misleading title i was looking for cool and simple logo reveals and this video as nothing to do with logo animations i n my opinion.

Question here since I'm a Premiere Newbie. After setting up the wave, in my file It does not stop waving, yours does?
My wave is hidden behind the white line, but you can also animate the wave effect so that it stops waving! :)
transform effects not working properly when shutter angle increase beyond 9. inspite of scale 0, the first frame of the image is shown full why?
Set it to 0.1 intead of zero, that should fix it. (I know it's annoying)
