  • Twenty-three Thai nationals held hostage in Gaza were released during the temporary cessation of fighting between Israel and Hamas last week. One former hostage, who is now back home with his family in Udon Thani, shared his experience of how he was kidnapped and kept in an underground tunnel for almost two months. The reunion is bittersweet for other families to witness, given the uncertainty surrounding the return of their loved ones who are still missing in the war zone. CNA's Saksith Saiyasombut reports. Out of the 122 dead, 43 died from "sudden nocturnal death syndrome", a mysterious death during the night while sleeping, according to an HRW report.
Such deaths, according to Phil Robertson, deputy director of the Asian division of HRW, have never been investigated by Thai or Israeli governments. In an interview, Robertson said 173 Thai workers interviewed by non-governmental organisation Kav LaOved had complained of long hours, being paid below the minimum wage, and not receiving proper equipment to protect themselves from the use of pesticides"

yes minimum wage workers have bad conditions this isn't new and isn't special for Israel. but look at the 1800$ a month they are getting paid this is much more than what foreign workers are getting paid anywhere in the middle east: including UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia... where those foreign workers live like animals and can't even return back. 122 is very low compared to how much they die in Qatar or UAE.

🤍The books of the Torah, as it was mentioned in the Book of Leviticus in the twenty-sixth chapter
36And on those who remain among you, I will cast cowardice into your hearts in the lands of their enemies, and they will be defeated by the sound of a rushing leaf, and they will flee like fleeing from a lion. So, they fall and there is no one to chase. 37And they will stumble against one another as before the sword, and there is none that can pursue, and you will not have standing before your enemies. 38And you will perish among the peoples and be devoured. The land of your enemies. 39And those who remain among you will be consumed in your iniquities in the lands of your enemies.🤍
And it came in the book of Deuteronomy, chapter twenty-eight, which reads: 63 And just as the Lord rejoiced over you to do good to you and multiply you, so the Lord rejoices over you to consume you and to destroy you, and you will be rooted out of The land that you are entering to possess. 64And the Lord will scatter you among all the people from one end of the earth to the other, and you will serve there other gods, which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers, of wood. And a stone.
65And in those nations you will not rest, nor will there be rest for your foot, but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, and fainting of eyes, and a fainting of the soul. 66And your life will hang in the balance before you, and you will be terrified day and night, and you will not be sure of your life. 67In the morning you say, “I wish it were evening,” and in the evening you say, “I wish it were morning,” for the fear of your heart that you terrify, and the vision with your eyes that you see.🤍,
You know the truth well, so you run away and are very afraid. You killed the prophets and did very bad badd things , so God forbade the Holy Land for you, but remember. hell is so painful for ever watch near death experience on CZcams and life is very short save your self

This is extremely distressing. I cannot fathom how the 3 young guys felt betrayed by their own people. They were so close to getting home safely and were executed like this - shirtless, shouting in Hebrew and waving a white flag. This is so difficult. And not to sound racist, but one of them definitely does not look like an Arab in any way especially if he was shirtless! Some are Palestinian children who stabbed people and they are arrested and not allowed to walk freely on the streets for a short while... until Hamas takes hastages and demand many prisoners for each hostage. Then they are free to stab like there is no tomorrow until someone stops them.

8-12-2023 Thai Hostage kidnapped by Hamas recalls 50 days of despair in captivity
Anucha Angkaew, a 28-year-old Thai farm worker, was also among them. Fortunately, he was released after 50 days. He said that while in captivity, he and the other hostages kept hope alive by playing chess and reminiscing about their families and the food in their hometown.
He said that Hamas locked them and an Israeli man in a windowless room of about 1.5 square meters and beat them continuously for two days. They continued to beat the Israelis for the next two days and even whipped them with electric wires.
He estimated that he and three other Thais were told they could go home after four days, were moved to a larger room, slept on rubber mats, had better food, and were no longer beaten. The four were handed over to the Red Cross a few weeks later and left Gaza on November 25.

So sad! This whole situation is bad enough, and then there are these poor Thai people who barely speak Hebrew, don't know the history, and had lived amongst Peaceniks who didn't have an issue with the Palestinians and was always trying to help them. They must be so confused stuck in a damp, dark tunnel with no understanding of why or what's happening. Hamas is vile!

Nope, seems your statement like IDF was. Distorting facts. Theres only israeli occupation, not egypt nor jordan. And they already did it for long time
And yeah, we didnt talk about uighur, syirian etc. Only talk about israel and palestine.

It's heartbreaking to see the UN behave in the manner they are behaving. How can you side with terrorists.?

    • @adv8680

Colonizers always call people who defend their homeland terrorists, that's the standard, even though the UN has even issued more than 38 resolutions only for Israel,

The UN is not siding with terrorists. UN aid organizations are the only ones left in Gaza. All the others have left cause it is too dangerous. Over 100 UN workers have been killed as Israel has bombed Gaza so badly that it is equivalent in o an atom bomb. 18,000 Gazans are dead. Most are women and children. The UN is trying to stop more being killed.

The families of the hostages murdered by hamas disagree. There is no honor in abducting babies, children, teens, and adults from over 25 countries and murdering some. It's shameful.
