Larry’s interaction with the videographer is one of the few i’ve seen where it ends on a good note with Larry getting what he needs. I kept expecting him to do something to piss him off which would result in him releasing the bad footage to the couple

Larry is so right about when couples renew their vows and the sentimental verbiage. Gag me!
I think the problem is when the couple isn't genuine in what they say or if they invite people who only loosely know them to watch. It comes off showy and cringey. This type of thing is too intimate and imo only extremely close ppl should be invited like if my best friend or sibling did a vow renewal I would cry watching it. If it was acquaintance... then yeesh.
