As an Australian driver in Germany I was hugely impressed with the discipline and adherence to road rules by German drivers. They are excellent drivers who take pride in being the best drivers they can be. Not like the ignorant unskilled and incapable idiots that we have on the roads in Australia. It comes down to the national attitudes in general. I found Germans to be fiercely competitive at every thing they did. Near enough was not good enough. They always did their best. Wonderful country.

They are awful.
Are you talking about the purple dots? Those are not lights, but (attention assist) IR sensors. Visible to cameras, but _not_ visible to the human eye.
Just like the IR on a TV remote. Invisible to the naked eye, but aim your cell phone camera at them and you should be able to see them.

Infrared lights keeping an eye on the driver. Wouldn't be visible to the naked eye.

About 100 miles with this kind of driving.
Pity about the traffic. Touched 152 MPH briefly but the way it gets there looks so graceful and effortless, and quiet when the beans are not being given. Some things I don't like: The start-up sound. This is what happens when BMW owns RR. How did that get passed? The red lights either side of the main instruments. Is that a lane keeping guide? That would drive me nuts. Finally the indicator sound. Need a lesson from Jaguar on that.
Indicator sound is louder than the engine sound, beautiful car!!!

Wow déjà d'extérieur. Deuxième wow à l'intérieur avec ce bleu ! Et quel silence à l'intérieur ! Impressionnant. Un 240 sans effort tranquille. 😊 j'ai une observation parce que j'ai le même problème avec ma voiture d'une autre marque. Il s'agit de la position du volant en ligne droite. J'observe sur autoroute que les branches du volant ne sont pas horizontales. L'angle semble le même que sur mon véhicule. Lorsque vous vous engagez dans une bretelle de sortie, j'observe un court instant que lorsque les branches du volant sont horizontales le vehicule continue sa trajectoire vers la droite. Le remarquez-vous pendant la conduite ? D'après mon concessionnaire il n'y a pas de problème. A l'état neuf ce n'était pas observé avant les premiers remplacements des pneumatiques... merci pour cette balade en Rolls ! Une première pour moi.

They're LEDs that only appear to flash on camera.

So quite as expected BUT what was with all those terrible noises when you first got in? The fact you can hear the motor on the electrical door close, the daft wake up noise, plus a number of other annoying little noises you just dont expect with the brand, im surprised they accepted these at Rolls Royce, i do like the car though, the back especially, the interior will be amazing as usual, for me Rolls and Bently make the nicest interiors in the business, pure luxurious both visually and the high end materials.

I think it's lane departure warning, but I didn't see them as violet.
That interior colour reminds me of the cockpit interior of a Russian Mig 29!
I like it! Something different than the boring beige, gray, and black that have become way too common.

Those lights in the dash flickering left to right and so on .. fricking annoying that is .
They are invisible to the human eye. Only cameras pick that up. I believe they track your eyes to see if you are awake.
