  • I picked up this 25mm rear sway bar for the GTI made by Eibach to hopefully flatten out the rear of the car on corners. Install was fairly simple, was a painless price and definitely does what it's intended to do. The car's rear feels much more planted now through turns!

    Hey pretty close to where you are is an awesome driving route. It’s be perfect for this. The road is fm 455. Just went this passed weekend and had a ton of fun even in my base Impreza. There were lots of sporty cars and bikes out.

    My stock 2018 GTI PP rear sway is 20mm (solid), and i have a neuspeed 25mm (tubular) currently installed. I wish there was one in between those 2 extremes, right in the middle. maybe a 23mm rear sway option.

    Nice mod! Do you think a new sway bar would help the miata? I myself have an NC FL and am generally curious because my trunk strut brace helped a lot!

    did the rear sway bar help with stability in driving in a straight line on highways? curious if this had any effect on straight line driving

    • @ColoredinLight
      @ColoredinLight  Před 2 lety

      It may have made bumps harsher, but nothing really even that noticeable in straight lines.

    great video, do u reckon i can achieve a similar result with the 22mm superpro RSB? or should i go 24mm and higher?

      @@ColoredinLight do u mean between the 22mm and the 25mm?

      Yep!

      @zippin1 Před 3 lety +1

      The Superpro is solid and the Eibach is hollow. I’m guessing they’ll feel very similar when you factor in the diameters. I believe the stock PP bar is 21.7mm hollow.

      @@zippin1 What do u think is the better option? solid or hollow? i am now deciding between a 25 mm hollow (ZSS) and 25 mm Solid (034)

    if you didnt bring the endlinks with the swaybar it would've taken 3 seconds to put it in

    • @ColoredinLight
      @ColoredinLight  Před 3 lety

      You're probably right but the guides I checked on how to do this said to remove with the bar.
