Ghana is the Second Most Peaceful Country in Africa, after the Island of Mauritius. And its been this way for years. And one of the Safest as well. You hardly see people fighting, but they can argue loudly without fighting. The Peace in that country is just beautiful. And the night life, especially in December is on another level. One of the nicest apartment you can stay also is Embassy Gardens, Beautiful place, but you need to cook yourself. AKWAABA.
Watch some drivers no repect. One held me hostage and refuse to drop me off where I needed to go. He proceeded to take me further to make money off of me. I took out my stun gun he got my message. 😅 50 times going I always took uber 100% times. Or excorted by my police husband when Im there.
Please never stay in the western style shops and hotels otherwise you will ran out money within a short time. Accra is artificially expensive because of so many people visiting. When you visit Ghana live like a local to enjoy your hard earned money otherwise you will find the place unbearable.
great video. it was very informative. I really liked how you switched it up with lodging. Most folks tend to stay at one location. wished you had a chance to explore the western region as there are a lot of beautiful resorts. Most visitors don't venture out that far, but it's so worth it. Glad you had a good time.
We've never gone anywhere and stayed in multiple locations but we wanted to see as much as possible. Our main reason for this is because we were interested in purchasing land. Staying in multiple locations gave us a better perspective.
Glad to hear that you are from Indiana. I am a Ghanaian residing in Tippecanoe County, precisely Lafayette, Indiana. I have been residing the United States for the past 21 years after attending Graduate School in the Deep South. Hopefully, I will run into you two someday, sometime in the Hoosier land or better still in the Motherland. I will be in the Motherland this Spring.
So cheap, I'm paying 699 usd for a single room, no breakfast a week for village motel in Oscoda Michigan. There is no service and even comfortable room.
I am glad yall enjoyed yourself. Next time yall come to the central region ,come pay us a visit. We are in Asebu. Shalum Shalum
We will!

Perhaps the jogging suits were for protection from mosquitos.
I didn't think of that. Good one!!
@@WatsonsTakeGhana Did you not get bitten by mosquitos on your hike?
@evelyngolden2272 yes I did get bitten, lol. That never made me want to wear a sweat suit though. We just used mosquito repellant.

did you purchase your tickets before getting your visa
Yes. We bought our plane tickets before applying for the visa. The visa application actually requests copies of your flight information.
Why Ghana government keep requesting Visa and taking money from our people???
Stop this Ghana 🛑🛑🛑
