    A couple of conabear traps over a week would greatly reduce the woodchuck numbers.

    Once you get the new rubber on the back of the 66. It would be interesting if you were to retrofit an odometer to the 66 to see how many miles the new tires would last.

    Hey Ethan,,,I was able to get up close and personal with 4014 when it did an overnight stop in Altoona, Wi a while back. Thing is crazy massive. Definitely go,make the time. Something you'll remember forever.

      Yes - certainly worth the time. Closest I have been to a Big Boy is the 4012 on static display at Steam Town. I can't imagine standing next to one that's living and breathing.....

    Pretty hard to get stuff sprayed when the sprayer keeps plugging up for sure. As soon as you started talking, I was already noticing the line on the ground. That stuff was really doing a great job. Thanks for sharing and I'll see you later.

    What is the Best Way to Prepare a Groundhog
    There are probably 100s of recipes out there on how to prepare a groundhog but my personal favorite is to slow cook it in a tightly covered cast iron (or enamel) pot with onions, garlic, fresh herbs like rosemary and white wine.

    We have had luck in the past letting the sprayer sit full of tank cleaner for days and days, and it is amazing how much stuff will break loose in the lines and tank. That is, if you can let it sit, i know you said you may have to get back to spraying quickly.

    It’s amazing how little spray does drift. It seems to find its way to the ground.
    I’ve seen more drifting with absolutely no wind at all. Inversion is what it’s called where it will actually lift and move around.

    • @Oliver66FarmBoy
      @Oliver66FarmBoy  Před měsícem

      There are usually other environmental factors involved with inversion. Also highly dependent on chemical. Some are more prone to it than others.

  • @dennislamers986
    @dennislamers986 Před měsícem +1

    Sucks when chemicals go wrong. Maybe the chucks need some magic Kool Aid. As a youngster given the chance to shoot something and get paid would be a great time.

    Mixing and plugging issues are what caused me to go back to the Co-op to spray my fields.

    $10 bucks? LMAO. When I was a young one, carrying my 22 to my Grandparents farm I got paid 50c per woodchuck. Early 70's economy ;-)

    Bummer on missing the gathering of the orange but when its go time its go time. Ive gone the last two years here in Minnesota and it's a great time definitely worth going if you ever get a chance in the future

      I talked to a buddy that went to it. The turnout was pretty poor unfortunately. I think the high temps killed participation.

    Ive noticed the same thing but with deer, a few weeds will hide the beans.
    $10. a hog is worth the cost of damage.

    Plugged nozzles are aggravating as hell, I've always just used the spraygrade dry AMS but it can be a pain if you dump it in to fast also😆. Since I bought a hardi sprayer I think I've only plugged a nozzle one time and that was from leaving it sit for a week with chemical in the boom. Screens it about 4 times before it gets to the nozzles and no aggravating nozzle screens. Only thing I hate is all the parts are Hardi and somewhat chinsy

      I’ve always used request liquid and never had a problem. I’m wondering if the heat is a factor in how well things are tank mixing to.

    Ahoj. No nevím nevím... U nás je na každém kanistru napsáno, že do nádrže do poloviny naplněné vodou, za stálého míchání rozpustíme přípravek nebo směs přípravků (tankmix) a potom dopustíme nádrž na plný objem. Nechci prudit 😊 ale kde máš gumové rukavice a ochranné brýle? Ty herbicidy jsou hrozné sračky. Tady jde fakt o život. A ještě něco, pokud není doporučen přípravek do tank mixu, tak může způsobit ucpání trysek a filtrů a kolaps zařízení obecně. Nicméně nech si dařit a Bůh Ti žehnej a také všem farmářům světa . ❤❤❤

      If you have watched the channel long enough I'll fill you in. The 2-105 and 2255 are future projects. It's being pushed aside due to time and money. Also those tractors would not fit in his dad's workshop.

    not sure about this but could there be a bit of starter fert left in the tank that you did not get out the nurse tank to cause that slime a person can wash out a tank 20 times and there will be left overs in the tank and cause this maybe

    does a large weed presence camouflage the beans and keep the deer away or no impact ( btw another Biden ad in the vid)

      I don’t know why you keep telling me this. CZcams personalizes ads based on tracking each viewers history. You want to stop seeing Biden adds, stop obsessing over him and CZcams will stop showing them to you….
