Did that squawking noise made by the camera during the initial set up startle you. It did me.
What is the quality of recording when you are streaming? Can you record the stream and download it on your computer?
I think using the memory card, you would have higher definition videos, but then, you would have to open the box to get at the card, thus disturbing the birds in the box, right?
Thanks for your comments and questions. Streaming from the Bid Box is possible. Green Feathers have tutorials on how to connect the camera to OBS where you can record and also place overlays on the video as well as live stream to various platforms. The memory card records events which you can go back and view via the app. so, no need to open teh box to remove the card. You just need to clear the card remotely as it will get full. Hope this helps.

Yes you can. There is a guide on how to do it and you can then live stream it as well.
Can the box be mounted on a metal pole?
Hi Leigh. I don't see why not. You would probably need to fit some sort of bracket to fit the pole and be secured to the box itself.
Is there a way to connect this to solar power?
Yes, they have options for solar panels.
Hi Trust me this system is crap even the box is wrong, if the hole is less than 5 1/2" inches from the internal base the blue tits won't use it, the nest when completed and is almost 3" high, that is why the hole height is so Important. R.
