We have to wait to see how this all plays out but if the Sabres make picks at 14,42, and 43, I’ll be confused. This team needs quality not quantity. And why do it before they see who’s available at 11? More has to be coming.
42 could be better that 14. Just look at jj . Its a guessing game
@@andrewb3941 I guess all I’m saying is what if a good player drops out of the top 10 like Benson did last year. Why risk missing out for a second round pick? Which is why I think there is more to come with picks 14, 42, and 43.
Because the impatience and ineptitude of this fan base and ownership has put enough pressure on Adams that he feels the need to either trade 14 for someone who is straight up not good like Scott Laughton or trade for a decent WINGER like Necas that still leaves a glaring hole at 3C ready to be filled by someone as miserable as Krebs
@@brendanf8845 You can’t blame this fan base. We watched Drury and Briere walk(suffering), tanked for Eichel and Reinhart only to watch them lift the cup elsewhere, and watched a promising 22-23 season turn into an unwatchable embarassment last year all while sitting in our seats being surrounded by fans from the opposing team. Adams should be feeling the heat. He said it was go time prior to last season. And he has already stated he wants a top 6 winger, a 3rd line center, and some grit on lines 3 or 4. He keeps setting the bar himself. It’s time to follow through.
And I agree with you about 3rd line center being most important. If Tage or Cozens miss time, I cringe at trying to come up with line combinations.

Say goodbye to best case scenarios like Berkly Catton or Zayne Parekh and say hello to a nice, boring, mediocre addition like Scott Laughton to make our 3C spot look slightly better. I’m sure that’s gonna help us so much !
I hope we use the 14th overall. I want Nygaard. Catton and Parekh are lower on my list. Too small.

He has to be frustrated right now. You can tell that he’s trying to get a deal done for a player to replace Skinner and Mittlestadt, but it’s not happening right now. The fact that we still have our first rounder and Skinner isn’t bought out isn’t a good sign.
A lot of our fans are making so many sweeping generalizations about Adams as if they could do any better. He literally explains all of the details and barriers.

This organization from the top down is a joke. Stockpiling picks is KAs forte. Too many prospects not enough proven players. But don’t worry …Kevin will grab another 5’8” winger that’ll get thrown around like a rag doll. So frustrating
Our team is one of the tallest teams in the league. They literally just need time to grow into their bodies. Also Adams literally explained that just because a player sounds good on paper doesn't mean they want to be here or the deal is right.
