Honestly I'm prolly not traveling to Florida from NY to get grease...😂
But I was wondering why lithium grease is not recommended (I'm assuming the silicone is too light weight) and what you do recommend instead?

No, coming to FL from NY definitely not efficient. We can ship you some of our lubricant if you want though 😉 Lithium attracts dirt and you want as little dirt as possible in all moving parts. I recommend ours, of course, but, if you look in your nearest hardware store specifically for a garage door lubricant without lithium or silicone, you should be fine. 😃
