The majohn clipless has the roll stop at the top but if you were to purchase it with the clip it would be at the bottom just like the pilot. They did it that way because th boxiness of the roll stop would get in the way of your grip, as opposed to the clip which is a bit more ergonomic. I own three of the majohn, 1 is clipless and two have the clip.
These pens are gorgeous! The pilot one is def my fav since I love true extra fine pens! Def going to add that one to the wishlist. I’m just getting into fountain pens so I only have 4 so far. Trying to pace myself. lol
I have a few Kaweco Sport ones and I just bought a TWSBI eco in the cream and rose gold. That one is my favorite!! Def going to order a white one as well. I also have my eyes on the pilot vanishing point. 😍
Apparently Japanese extra fines and fines are finer and uh extra finer than most non Japanese made nibs. Love the Capless Wisky color, just a little envious.😊 And it looks like you got a good Moonman A1, some gotten less nice nibs.
Yeah I definitely prefer Japanese extra fines for sure! Oh really!! So there’s some hit and misses with the Moonman A1? I’m thankful I got a good one 😍
I feel that pilot took the traditional samurai sword to heart when they made the EF nib for the capless, its basically a weapon lol. I had to move to a fine nib in mine because I was having a hard time with most papers. Sailor’s are more fine then most FP’s as well but Pilot takes the cake lol.
