I'd say the Shocker scene just really emphasizes Peter's aggression while wearing the Black Suit. The biggest issue I see is that the visuals don't convey the emotion of the acting super well.
@@JLuisJoni That's what happens when almost all facial features are obscured. We can't see his mouth or his actual eyes with the mask so any sort of emotion he's feeling has to be conveyed through his voice and his movements. This entire scene was brutal and legit had me in tears when I re watched the whole series last year. The amount of pain this version of Spider-Man had to go through is unfathomable.
And that's what makes Spider-Man so relatable. Even when he wins, alot of times he still loses. Like he can never catch a break but still manages to maintain a positive attitude and keep giving it his all day in and day out.
@@Bray1Jay I used to very much think that. But it lead to a very unhealthy mindset/lifestyle for me. That scream is both hilarious and heart breaking. Imagine being a little kid tuning into the next episode of Spider-Man and you’re left in emotional shock by the end of the episode.
That's exactly what happened to me! I remember the episode ending and left me with such a heavy feeling in my gut. My favorite hero who does everything he can to help people. Just lost his wife and there's nothing he can do to bring her back (as far as I knew.) I hoped so hard that there would be a scene after that showed the real MJ or Peter working on a way to find her. Nope, Peter is left with nothing but a broken heart.
Jesus Christ, I legitimately heard his heart breaking. Holy Guacamole that’s good voice acting. Yes the whole "SHOCKER!!!" thing was over top, but this series had some absolutely amazing VA.
And considering weekly TV shows don't usually have the time or budget to animate things the way they might want to, they did their best with what they had.
@@steakman4691 I imagine those emotionless mask problems are why, even in the live action movies, Spidey's mask eyes move and emote. Much easier to convey emotion visually that way.
@@JLuisJoni Well now they do, the previous incarnations in the movies didn’t have that luxury before, so they also dealt with the same problems, but with the luxury of being live action, their Spider-Men were allowed to convey more movement and act using body language more fluently

That's exactly what happened to me! I remember the episode ending and left me with such a heavy feeling in my gut. My favorite hero who does everything he can to help people. Just lost his wife and there's nothing he can do to bring her back (as far as I knew.)
I hoped so hard that there would be a scene after that showed the real MJ or Peter working on a way to find her. Nope, Peter is left with nothing but a broken heart.

Jesus Christ, I legitimately heard his heart breaking. Holy Guacamole that’s good voice acting. More.Than.Anything!”
It ends on what I like to call a cliffender. They basically tell you what they're going to do, but it is never shown. You should definitely watch it.
It goes at the pace of a meth head on withdrawal being offered just a bit more but if you can handle that, it's pretty good actually! Been watching it with my friend these past months
I never thought it ended on a cliffhanger. They say where they are going and who they'll encounter once they get there, and that's the end. As a kid I thought it was a good enough ending. There's no unfinished plotlines nor villains to defeat. You can watch and still be satisfied with it.
